Herb is likely gonna back and theres a chance Petty will come back but most seem to think he is leaning towards leaving. Would be awesome if he does come back.

If that happens, the final roster will be interesting to see how it plays out

Yeah, three players would have to leave assuming we sign Muhammed or Nolley too. Most assume that Forbes and Galin wil be the first two to leave but I'm not sure who the third would be, seems like it would probably be Reese or Davis. My bet would be Reese.

But Reese needs to be shown the door if we don’t have room for him. He fricked up and hasn’t shown he bought in. Galin has got to go just because he can’t play at this level. I hope both guys are helped find a place they can play but Nate owes them nothing. He gave them a shot and it didn’t work out. Time to move on.

Just seems weird that we haven’t heard anyone besides Hawkins going in the portal when players from other schools entered a long time ago for most of them . Going to be some more tough conversations for Oats

I’m sure it’s a long shot but what if we got both Muhammad and Nolley? Some guys would be gone. When do our numbers have to be right? Could this linger until fall?

In football, you can't have more than 85 total counters -- enrolled on countable scholarships. I think the total counters limit for basketball is probably like that too. It's the limit of how many players you can have enrolled on a countable scholarship. Any needed departure(s) have to happen in time for the new guy(s) to enroll on scholarship(s).

2 of Galin/Reese/Javian will leave. Maybe even all 3. With Bruner and Rojas where are any of them gonna get minutes??? Forbes will leave too, he got recruited over.

Bruner told the YaleDailyNews he is done exploring his NBA options this spring.

“Right now there is no pre-draft process,” he said. “There’s no workouts. There’s no such thing as testing the waters if you already know what your spot is. Those guys that are testing the waters, they’re just trying to figure out where they would go or if they would get picked up or not, but I already have a good feel for what my case would be.”

No way in hell Javian is asked to leave. He busted his butt and lost like 45 lbs? He was a freshmen, he had struggles, but still showed more promise in 1 season than both pecker heads Reese & Galin have shown in 3 seasons. Javian will make a contribution.

Order in which players should be dismissed..

1a. Galin Smith
1b. Alex Reese
2. Jaylen Forbes (I’d honestly like to give him more time too, but if Kira shocked us and came back, Forbes would have to go.

Are we positive it’s not Rojas who will be shown the door? Any news on his rehab?

No.

Oats said Rojas is one of the toughest players he’s ever seen.

Holy shite, Auburn might get Jalen Green AND Greg Brown. The coaches in this state have stepped up the recruiting

Jalen Green got a crystal ball to Memphis today from Andrew Slater.

I like Javian and think he has potential but is he gonna get minutes?? Bruner is gonna get 25-30 at the very least and Rojas will get 15-20.... where is his playing time?
