What’s the plan if we miss on Bruner? Rojas and Pray Galin,REese, and Javian get better???? I don’t like that

Outside of Bruner, Ellis is the guy I want the most. Saw some advanced statistics on this dude and they’re unreal, even at the JUCO level. Registered a 134.0 ORTG and an 83.3 DRTG for last season. Not always the most reliable stats to look at, but those numbers are at unheard of levels.

For comparison Lewis registered a 109.8 ORTG and Herb registered a 100.1 DRTG.

On a side note, Bucky McMillan took the Samford coaching gig.

If this is what happens, it might be better if the season got canceled.

I think Javian could get better. Reese and Galin are what they are. Galin is 21yo and still doesn’t know how to catch a basketball

If we add Primo, Ellis, Singleton, Ambrose, Miles, who are all 6'6 or over, on top of Rojas and Gary who are 6'8 and 6'5 that's gonna be a lot of added size next season.

Ambrose - 6'8
Rojas - 6'8
Miles - 6'7
Primo - 6'6
Ellis - 6'6
Singleton - 6'6
Gary - 6'5

All of these guy are good enough ball handlers to get a rebound and start the break without having to stop and find a PG to pass it too which is important in Oat's system.

Adding 6'9 Bruner would be a nice cherry on top.

If we add all these guys & have some luck with very few injuries we're going to have the best depth we've prolly ever had.On paper what these guys can do in Oats system will be phenomenal.Scoring over 90 & even over 100 will happen on a regular basis. It's going to be very fun & entertaining to watch so now we can for real 'Buckle Up!'

There has never been a more accurate phrase to describe the turbulent nature of Alabama basketball.

Should be a fun season.

Gonna be basically a whole new team out there. One Oats recruited to fit his style. I'm excited to see it.

So looks like we are virtual locks for Ellis and Miles, I feel really good about Singleton too. Guess really the only unknown that's left hopefully is where Bruner goes.

2020 3* Darius Miles (@BigFreakk2) has picked up another crystal ball pick for @AlabamaMBB this afternoon via @247Sports. That is his fourth crystal ball prediction for Alabama. He is set to make his decision on April 7th. Will it hold for Nate Oats and Alabama? #heatcheck

I hope we go after another guy with size if we miss on Bruner, still some good players big guys in the portal we could get in on.

Adding Darius Miles and Keon Ellis would move us up to #15 class in the country and #5 in the SEC.

I wonder if adding bruner would make the class rank go up much I dont think they rank the transfers against each other and he wasnt ranked high coming out if HS. Most have him as a top 3 grad transfer.

Im my opinion its no doubt a top 10 class if we get Ellis, Bruner, and Miles

We have to bring in another post so hopefully they’re recruiting other bigs in case Bruner decides on going elsewhere.

That’s not even counting us getting 5* Quinerly, 4th ranked JUCO player from last year Rojas, and top 75 player Juwan Gary
