Some other good guards who have entered to portal today
grad transfers
Ian Dubose Houston Baptist - 19 ppg, 7 rebs, 3 assists
Amauri Hardy UNLV - 15 ppg points, 3 rebs, 3 assists
Regular transfer
AJ Walker - Air Force - will be a JR, shot 40% from three, had 9 games with 15 points or over.
The portal is loaded with really good guards. I hope we force some players out and stock up.
Smith and Forbes could definitely be upgraded.

Left the program in late January, citing mental health issues.
On another note, if he comes to Tuscaloosa, I hope he’s better than the last Ohio State transfer we got.

He was playing well til he left, was averaging around 11 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists in around 23 minutes a game. I thought he deserved more playing time that he was getting personally. He played 25 minutes or under in 13 of his 20 games there. I assume thats the main reason for the transfer.

I’ve already gone back on that and admitted Herb is ok now. When you have a team decent at offense, Herb is a great addition. The problem was, mixing him with Dazon, Donta, Avery Jr, Galin, Reese, etc, that’s too many guys that can’t score, and he got lost amongst all that sucky ness for me. Put him with Kira, improved Petty, Shack, Beetle, etc, I see Herb’s positives

1. Seth Towns, 6-foot-7, 215 pounds, SF, senior, Harvard
The 2017-18 Ivy League Player of the Year, Towns missed the past two seasons because of knee injuries. If he's healthy, he's the clear-cut No. 1 player on this list, especially because he should have two more seasons of eligibility. He averaged 16.0 points and 5.7 rebounds and shot 44.1% from 3 in 2017-18. Kansas, Virginia, Syracuse, Ohio State, Michigan, Maryland and Duke are among his suitors.
2. Bryce Aiken, 6-foot, 175 pounds, PG, senior, Harvard
Aiken played just seven games this season before missing the rest due to injury. The former first-team All-Ivy guard averaged 16.7 points this season but put up 22.2 points in 18 games last season.
3. Jordan Bruner, 6-foot-9, 205 pounds, PF, senior, Yale
The first-team all-Ivy selection could choose to test his NBA draft options, sources told ESPN. Bruner stuffs the stat sheet, averaging 10.9 points, 9.2 rebounds and 3.8 assists. The South Carolina native also showed an improved outside shot this season.
4. Mike Smith, 5-foot-11, 180 pounds, PG, senior, Columbia

5. Kevin Marfo, 6-foot-8, 245 pounds, PF, redshirt junior, Quinnipiac
The nation's leading rebounder, Marfo is a dominant force on the glass, and he averaged double-figure points. He will look for an extended role after averaging 10.2 points and 13.3 rebounds.
6. E.J. Anosike, 6-foot-6, 245 pounds, PF, junior, Sacred Heart
Anosike is graduating in three years after averaging a double-double this past season: 15.7 points and 11.6 rebounds. He is aggressive around the rim and draws fouls at a very high clip.
