Does it? Samford is actually way closer. I kind of thought that was one of the reasons they chose Samford. Definitely would make more sense if it was considered a neutral game.

I think BHam is considered a home game for us but I’m not sure. Then Huntsville is a neutral site

Liberty was counted as Neutral Site last year
2 years ago Texas was counted as a home game(according to WarrenNolan)

Not saying this isn’t right and that’s been true for past games, but how in the hell would Samford score an away game 10 minutes off campus at a neutral arena. Would make much more sense both logically and from a scheduling standpoint on our end if it were considered neutral.

I imagine the event staff would be under Bama’s control/discretion which would lead it to being a home game for us.

I just now realized that was being asked bc we’re playing Samford who is the home team technically
I’m dumb. But yeah I’m assuming they’ll still find a way to make us the home team. Idk tho

If that’s the case, I see no logical explanation for that choice. I’d be more okay with playing some other bad basketball team not located 10 minutes away.

I would rather us be the “Away” team against Samford. I think they are gonna be solid so that will be a Q3 Win instead of Q4 and while very small there would be an outside chance of them being Q2.

We only have 13 games in Coleman at the moment. How many more are coming?

I would think 2 more non conference home games.

The new fun guessing game is to guess what number release our schedule will be.
