I could obviously be wrong, but I just don't see him leaving even if it means going home. It would be a bad look for him. Michigan is a better job, but they aren't a blue blood and we aren't a mid-major. If he does well here I'm sure he will be on Michigan State's short list when Izzo retires, and as I understand it he's more of Sparty guy anyway.

The Michigan/Big 10 fans are hopeful Oats screws us over and back out of the deal. Again, it's nice to have a coach that's wanted over one that we're having to manufacture jobs for in hopes of him leaving.

If Oats hadn't said anything it'd be one thing.
You can't blame Michigan and their fans for wanting him given the connections and maybe down the road it'll happen. The timing right now is just shite.
