wouldn't consider a guy ranked at 32 or below an Elite recruit. Top 10 players are elite recruits imo, I would say Sexton was one.
UVAs avg player rotation rank this year would probably be top 10 nationally or close to it.
To act like UVA didn't have talent is just naive
Texas Tech is the outlier not UVA

I agree there, they were definitely one of the most talented teams.

When UF won their back to back titles, its on the back of under the radar four star players. Billy Donovan had more talented teams that absolutely flopped just a few years before. Emeka Okafor was a 3 star that almost went to Vanderbilt! What was Butler's recruiting rankings under the kid genius?

Any sort of confirmation on what recruits showed up? I’d hope some 2020 and 2021 guys were on campus to meet Oats.

I know for sure Gary and Hawkins are there, haven't heard one way or the other about anyone else.

Keep in mind This was early recruiting services before the quality, depth and volume of scouting was close to what it is today
Even still, not sure I'd call it under the radar when 5/7 top minutes guys were top 100
-Brewer #32 and McD All American
-Horford #36
- Noah #75
- Green #105
- Chris Richard #45 (~20mpg)

Brad Stevens first NC appearance wasnt nuts in hindsight.
That second one though is an all time impressive coaching job. After losing his best player + key senior from a small rotation, he shouldn't have been able to pull it off

I know he hasnt played a minute yet for us but Ray Hawkins is already one of my favorite players we've had. That kid looks so damn happy to be here and is acting like he hit the fricking lottery
I hope he does well.

I really hope Bolden goes on and commits while he is here. I haven’t heard anything about him visiting anywhere else.

I want to say i read he had visited Georgia Tech a couple weeks ago.

You're right. GT is in a similar situation as us PG depth wise, have a really good young PG in Michael Devoe. I imagine both schools are trying to recruit Bolden as more of a 2 guard. Sounds like he wants to play PG, not sure how huge of a factor that is, if it's a huge factor it doesn't make much sense for him to be considering Alabama and GT.
