Other than $$ why the hell would you pick Memphis? They haven’t done shite since Cal left them before the NCAA could come in. Penny has made a lot of big promises but so far not much substance to back them up. Will Memphis be implicated in the shoe scandal? Wouldn’t surprise me.
Nate’s an unknown in the SEC. I get that but at least he’s won somewhere. Penny hasn’t done that. And in the SEC, you’re going to get exposure if nothing else. And you’re going to be challenged in a tough league night after night unlike the American where you can take some nights off. Nate IS going to work your arse off, no question about it. But isn’t that what you want if you want to be the best player you can be and get paid in the NBA? Or you can see if Penny runs another failed NBA in the NCAA experience.

Watford could come here and play in the Battle 4 Atlantis this year and the Maui Invitational next year, the 2 best in-season tournies out there, but no he’d rather go play for a trash coach and a program that hasn’t made the tourney in years

Looks like he’s not in the league he’s just been in the G league for several years. So maybe it makes more sense to ask for money. Coulda sworn he was in the NBA for a year or two but nope. Mountain Brook though

A few days ago saban n bear all but guaranteed us we were getting Watford.
