Good highlight video of Cheatam. Nice height for a guard. I think he would be a nice addition.

We’ve all seen how he’s backed off in his hatred of Herb of late.

Not true, Herbert is still a terrible basketball player and doesn’t deserve the scholarship he’s on right now. I just don’t feel like arguing by myself vs 50 people on here who think Oats is going to wave a magic wand and Herb is all of a sudden going to be good. I’d rather just wait and watch next season, I think the proof will come.

In 21.1 minutes per game last season, he brought 6.4 PPG, 3.5 RPG, 2.0 APG, on 42% FG%, 28% 3P%, and 49% free throws. Lord have mercy

I wouldn't either, PG is the main position of need. I bet we add Bolden and another guard, won't surprise me at all if it's Cheatam.

He is a good player, he was ranked as the 75th best player in his class.

His defense of Avery was unbelievable. Had to have been trolling.

Catapult numbers after the first workouts were higher than theyve ever been by a large margin.

Is that good or bad? I don't know anything about the Catapult system measurements.

It means they are running a lot more than they were.

Its good. It measures effort and energy. Helps a coach know when this players are giving max effort and when they are tired.

Thanks. I figured it was like what the football team uses but wasn't sure of anything beyond that.

Its this little electronic device that measures all of these numbers and helps coaches get a gauge on if a player is giving max effort or if a player is getting tired.

If you ever seen that hump on our players back between the shoulder blade of jersey or a flashing green light in the back of our football players shoulderpads...thats the catapult device.

Seriously, how dumb was it for Avery to cut our practice time in half over the last month of the season?

Pretty sure Wimp recently said he used to do something similar.

Wimp had his players practicing extremely hard before that though, I am sure by the last month of the season they were in tip top shape. I don't think the team ever practiced very hard under Avery.

Seems like they ran NBA style practices with Avery, which work when you have players already skilled enough to be in the NBA.

Not good when you're trying to build skills in young players.

Us somehow finishing off with Watford, Bolden, and one of Rojas/Allen would be great.

Watford is almost the same height and Weight as Dawkins. Not sure we need another big man with those two. Typically in Oats offense only one big man plays at a time. If we miss on Watford I do think we get Rojas or Allen.

I am going off Oats saying he thought we had too many big men when he got here. He has since added Dawkins and may add Watford.
Hard to see him a adding a third big unless Fleming and Smith both leave imo.
