Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has told reporters that there will soon be an order for no mass gatherings in Ohio, which includes the First Four in Dayton and the NCAA Tournament in Cleveland.

I wouldn't mind keeping Davis he has a good enough shot that he could be serviceable from three, he is a good free throw shooter.

Yeah.. I don’t see why we’d want to get rid of him. Let’s assume we got rid of 3 bigs.. and replaced them with 3 (somehow, transfers or whatever). There is absolutely no way that all 3 would be an upgrade over Davis. I definitely want him to stay.

Nate Oats said Herbert Jones may play without a cast tomorrow vs. Tennessee in the SEC Tournament.

We have way too many bigs for this offense, was looking at Buffalo's roster Oats last year there and they had two bigs on the whole roster, we had 4 this year and are gonna sign another one, so that's five. We'll get rid of at least two of them, maybe three depending on what Hawkins future here is.

We need less bigs and more skilled players who can pass, dribble, and shoot. We signed Ambrose who can do all three plus has good size at 6'8 200 lbs, we'll probably sign three or four more guards (depending on if Petty stays or not) and one more big imo.

Bingo. Position-less basketball is what Oats wants. Just put out 5 guys who are good at basketball. Someone’s height shouldn’t give them more playing time than a more superior player.

Height and toughness are the biggest factors in rebounding. A guy can be 6'9 270 but if he isn't tough he is gonna get out rebounded by a guy that's 6'8 215 who is tough most of the time.

I'd much rather have guys that are 6'8 215 like Rojas and Ambrose who can rebound, pass, dribble, and shoot, than a guy who is 6'9 250 that can't jump or even catch a pass most of the time.

CBS Sports is reporting that there should be a statement regarding the status of the NCAA Tournament within the next hour, and that total cancellation is a possibility.

Worst case scenario is that it happens with no fans.

NCAA just released a statement, it's not cancelled but they advise host cities to hold the games without fans.

What are the chances the NIT is cancelled? Their Final Four is held in New York.

I hope the SEC says no fans. That way we wouldn’t have to play UK in a road game

I'd venture a guess that the NIT is on life support and someone is tugging on the plug. If the NCAA is proceeding fanless, and the NIT is on campuses the first round (half of which are closed anyway) it's going to be hard to pull off the logistics of the NIT. Best case is it follows the NCAA's lead.

The NIT will still happen but won’t have any fans in attendance, per NCAA.

Good news for us.

Mark Emmert says the NCAA is looking to move the Final Four out of Mercedes-Benz Stadium into a smaller venue in Atlanta.

Regional sites could also be moved from the currently scheduled arenas to smaller venues in same cities.

The plan is to keep sites for the 1st round as is.
