Its gonna be fricking great not seeing certain players in a Bama uniform next season.
Kira, Petty, Shack, Herb are the only ones this season who fit Oats style of play.
Kira & Petty likely are gone as well.
It'll be a totally different team next season.
Just having a solid post presence will help win tight games.

Will Bama be better or worse with all the players gone next year? Hard to replace experience, I'm guessing Bama will have some growing pains next year and finish with a record about like this year.

Year 3 under Oats is when the Tide will make the NCAA Tournament again.

He's having surgery after the season, dude can't be 100% healthy or even 100% effective, but we need bodies so we play him

I think Petty is the key. If he comes back, I think we have a very good season. If he leaves, that’s a lot of new faces in key positions that will have to have time to mesh.

If it was that serious, I don’t believe Oats would have called him “soft as shite” during the game and then blasted him to the media afterwards

Speaking of Alex Reese, he just "liked" a tweet of mine saying that I hope he isn't on the roster next season.

Alex Reese was just part of an embarrassing 19 point arse whipping that saw him commit more turnovers (2) than points scored (1).

He is 6'9" 250ish lbs. and went 0-3 from the field today. He took all three of those shots from three point range while he's barely making them at a 30% clip this season (30.4%).

First thing he does after that effort is search his name on Twitter. Please get this kid out of the program as soon as possible.

The @AlabamaMBB team will be the No. 9 seed in the SEC Tournament and face No. 8 Tennessee on Thursday at noon CT in Nashville. Winner will play top-seeded Kentucky on Friday.

Cecil says we are locked in as the 9 seed now which means we are on the Kentucky side of the bracket...smh

Schedule should be easier next year. We need to lighten up the OOC some until we make some progress.

Too many unknowns at this point to know how next year will go. Does Petty stay, do we get Primo? Do we get a good grad transfer big?

At this point we need a big who can walk and chew bubble gum at the same time. And who isn’t as weak as a baby deer. If I see Alex Reese get another rebound 2 feet from the basket and try to kick it outside instead of going up strong, I will puke.

I’m really shocked that Forbes hasn’t caught on to things. I thought by now he’d be getting around 6 points a game

I’d like to see 2 grad transfer big men

Coach is disappointed. So am I but talk is cheap.

This team did not improve over the course of the season which I expect from good coaching.

Oats gets a pass and I still think he can get it done but he better get some recruit that can make a difference. If he can't recruit, he will be doomed.

No two ways about it, we regressed as the season went on. Injuries and lack of depth certainly contributed to it. But you go back and watch that game against Richmond, who is damn good by the way and going to be in tourney, we don’t even halfway resemble that now.

But that’s just it! They did improve. Halfway through the season, this team was looking like a tough out. Then we had the injury bug strike again with Herb and later Petty and they mentally folded. This team is very weak above the shoulders and I say that about every one of them but Herb. He’s the only one that has shown any balls. I’ll give Kira half credit for at least trying. But today that bunch fricking quit! That disgusts me beyond belief. If you don’t have enough pride and self esteem to give it your best, then turn in your fricking scholarship! You have no business representing the University of Alabama in competition and that goes for any athlete on every team that takes the field in Crimson.

I really wouldn’t mind if we lost about 7 total after today. I can live with and support a team that is getting out talented or just gets outplayed but is busting their arse. I can’t stomach a bunch of quitters.
