Meaning he’s still facing a long recovery and rehab and won’t be back anytime soon if ever.

I like Javian. Definitely is our best option at the 5

This is going to take some getting used to. Somehow we have 43 points at the half while seeming to not really be clicking for most of it. This is a full game's worth of points for the Anthony Grant era.

We looked much better that last 5 minutes than we have so far this season.

Mr. Basketball in Alabama...there lies the rub

Yeah, funny how that works. I was looking at South Carolina high school swimming times today. If we lived in SC instead of Florida, my daughter wins 4th place in the state in 100 fly instead of 24th. I’ll bet Petty wouldn’t be Kentucky or Indiana Mr. Basketball!

Now I want to see us beat this team by 20
+ points. Keep the foot on the pedal, don't let them get back in the game. If we do that that will be a good sign, we haven't been able to do that the last few years very often.

Kentucky? Isht, He would def. be Mr. Basketball in Kentucky. Indiana? Hell no.

It all depends on youth development, which I been harping on since day one. A state that produces a good pool most years makes the job much easier.

I see your point, though. It's the same way with academics. Bill Clinton be the first to tell you that he only became Rhodes Scholar b/c he was from Arkansas, and not New York or Cali.

That's still pretty impressive. Congrats to your daughter.

Petty is giving it his all and being a good teammate. I'm not going to complain about him.

He hasn't had a bad half statistically. 4 rebs 3 assists and 8 points.

He always seems to be giving his all but just commits clumsy mistakes. Never figured out how he could have been such a good shooter in High School. He is just bad now.

I am fairly pleased with Javian so far. He hasn't been able to finish at the rim very well, but he looks athletic and has already grabbed 5 boards. If he can average 8-10 rebounds a game, that would be huge for us.

And I fully expect Galin to be asked/encouraged to be a grad transfer at the end of the season. He's reached his ceiling, and unfortunately it's not very high.

Thanks T Dogg. Her and her teammates finished 15th in 200 freestyle relay and she set a new personal best and school record.

I’m just frustrated with Petty. I’m sure he’s trying but he’s not contributing much on the scoreboard and he was recruited as a 3 point wizard. Never has panned out much.

So what you're saying is Galin wouldn't even be chosen to play at Nick's noon BB shootout.

Serious question: if someone in the front court fouls out who comes in?
