No it isn't. He wants to have his cake and eat it too. He's never going to be able to come back and watch a game as a fan. Not anytime soon at least. He wants to take his mercenary paycheck from Wade and LSU, but still be an Alabama fan. It doesn't work that way.

He could always come back and get his gradute degree, so it's a stretch to say he will no longer be welcome at the University as a whole.

Lol no shite the University couldn't stop him from enrolling. Doesn't mean he will ever be accepted as an Alabama fan by the rest of the fanbase. That ship has sailed for him.

You're being too harsh. Sounding like LSU fans...

The booing was perfect. The not backing down, perfect.

All this shite about he isn't welcomed to the university is nonsense.

He can never be a part of Alabama basketball (unless the distant future he becomes a coach or something) but that doesn't ban him from ever getting a degree from the university or being from the state.

He is no longer welcome as part of the Alabama fanbase, which he still wants to be a part of despite taking a bunch of money from a shady coach to play at a rival program. That has nothing to do with attending UA or living in Alabama. I don't see what you are failing to grasp about that, but I know your schtick is to purposefully misunderstand and then twist the discussion to make yourself right and tell everyone else they are stupid, so I shouldn't be surprised.

Stop being a bitch.

You said the guy wouldn't be accepted to watch games at Alabama. Who is going to stop him? You?

Yes he did some slime shite, and he deserves the boos and shite he has gotten.

However, who gives a frick about your opinion of who can be a fan? For all you know he could be a future coach or his son could be oen of our future star players.

If we go 4-2 over our next 6 we are probably going to end up being the first real test of just how seriously the selection committee is about NET. Because that would put us at 18-13 going into the conference tournament with a NET likely in the 30s. If they leave us out in that scenario then they are signaling that NET is just a small factor and ultimately means very little.

Yea I don't care about all that with Watford but I'm gonna LOL at booing "one of us". Watford could have chosen to be one of us, he chose not to. That's cool, his choice, but you can't then be like "but I'm a big Alabama basketball fan!".

Get out of here with that.

I'm with you.

I don't know what that kid and his high school coach expected? Cheers?

I love how we kept booing him even late in the game and I believe it had a positive effect for us. I like how it sets a tone for the future as well.

Yea, it was all in good fun and none of it was nasty (from what I could tell and haven't heard any nasty stuff since).

It's college basketball in a fun, rowdy environment. It's part of it. Deal with it.

We got a real shot - can't slip up at home and really need to get 2/3 road games, IMHO.

- Go 5-1 (19-12, 11-7) : Win out at home, win 2/3 road games and we go to Nashville in the tournament.

- Go 4-2 (18-13, 10-8): Win out at home, win 1/3 road games and we go to Nashville probably needing a win.

- Go 3-3 (17-14, 9-9): Win out at home, win 0/3 road games and we go to Nashville definitely needing 2 wins.

Losing at home would be devastating, even if it was to South Carolina. Clearly losing at home to Vandy or A&M is not an option.

NC State was 33 last year in NET and didn’t get in. They also ranked 352 in Non ConferenceSOS though which shouldn’t be a problem for us

Winning 3 of 4 out of Carolina, @ State, @ Miss and @ Mizzou will not be easy.
