Me too - would be huge. I just don't see it, though.

At least we have a former 5 star PG on the bench redshirting with three years left, I don't think Kira returns either, but nice to know we have a replacement that should be pretty good too.

I'm feeling good about us making the tourney with the way we played tonight plus Herb being back even if it's in a limited capacity for now.

If things hold up we have two quad one games left and three quad two's. That's not counting the SEC tourney. Plenty of time and opportunities left to add to our resume.

Is Rojas big enough to help in that area. I know he's like 6'8". Or maybe Davis or Hawkins progresses with a year in Oats system?

If one of those two can progress, look out! I like what Oats is building here.

Don’t forget about Ambrose. He got 20 rebounds in a game recently playing against the number 2 C and a top 5 player in this class. He is athletic enough and a good enough shooter to play anywhere 3-5 too.

Rojas would probably be our top rebounder so far this year had he not gotten hurt. Oats called him one of the toughest players he has ever seen.

Don’t think Shackelford stays four years. Three max. He had stated he really wanted to be a one and done.
Think he may need two more years to get NBA ready.

Good game and all but duck you guys. Didn't need another heart attack game midweek + lose our best player.

I've been saying for awhile OatzNhoez seems like a good coach and a Ricky Bobby mentality 3FG team is both fun + dangerous

At 13-11......Wow. I wonder how high we would be if we had Herb for Arkansas and Tennessee and won those games

Pretty clear after last night Herb is the most important player on our team. He's far from the best all around player, but he's so versatile and adds so much energy he's impossible to replace when he's out.

And a super random stat - we've been harping on turnovers (rightfully so)............

5 Games with our Lowest Turnover Rate %
1. @ Auburn (9.6%) (Loss)
2. @ Kentucky (10.8%) (Loss)
3. @ LSU (11.9%) (Loss)
4. @ Penn State (12.5%) (Loss)
5. @ Florida (13.0%) (Loss)

The 5 games this year where we've handled the ball the best we've lost

I got nothing

Weird stat, but those are also the 5 toughest road games we've had this season so given that, it does make some sense.

Good teams find ways to win and bad teams...don't. At some point in my life, I hope we're the good team that you just have a feeling will crush it in the last 4-5 minutes of a game.
