I agree. Hopefully we get there, I think we will. Wade and Pearl have been at those schools long enough to get the players they want and most of those players have been in their systems for a few years now.

I made the point a few days ago that Wade went 8-10 in conference his first season at LSU even though he had Sylar Mays, Tremont Waters and some other good players that he would eventually win with. It's rare that a new coach just comes in kicking arse year one. Takes time to get the players acclimated to how you want to play.

I thought 2013 Auburn used up all of Auburn universities luck for the next 50 years.....guess I was wrong. They get every break in football and every bounce in basketball

Pearl did have an assistant coach arrested in the FBI investigation and there was a 3 or 4 month period where they weren't able to recruit last year because of sanctions.
Plus Wiley and Purifoy were ineligible last year due to NCAA stuff.

Did Auburn get some luck today? I only watched the end of regulation, and they kinda got screwed on a foul call, then hit 2 big 3 pointers, LSU guy dribbled himself right into a triple team for a turnover. Seems they made the plays and overcame a bad call to tie it. I guess you can call LSU missing the front end of a 1 and 1 luck.

I don't know what is more frustrating, the fact that we can't defend without fouling, our careless turnovers, or the way the other team out rebounds us on their offensive glass. If we could just even that up we we be so much more competitive. We are losing at the free throw line and the other team has 20 more shot attempts than we do because of turnovers and offensive rebounds.
