Being at the game I got to see things that i don’t always pick up on tv but we have some inconsistent players , Kira has played too many minutes and has no legs right now and we HAVE to get some dudes down low . Galin is Galin and Reese is not physical enough to grab boards in traffic

Lack of fundamentals were killing me tonight

I'll be honest, I'm pretty sick of next season. At some point this program has to overcome adversity. I mean just by sheer dumb luck you'd think one of these years everything would go right. Hell, I'd settle for equal parts good and bad instead of the usual everything going wrong.

When Petty is on fire we can play with the good teams when he isn't we struggle. Our defense is horrible.

We're ranked 329th out of 350 teams in scoring defense

and 319th our of 350 teams in turnovers per game.

That's not a recipe for success. We basically have to outscore people, and on night like tonight when most of our players are cold it's not pretty.

Oats will get it turned around though, his teams at Buffalo were good defensively but also scored a lot of points.

We literally just threw the ball to Arky towards their goal for easy layups . Looked awful

I just don't want any of our fans to give up on Coach Oats if this season is disappointing. He's got us heading in the right direction.

If Petty had just an average game , we win tonight anyway . Heck no, I am not giving up on Oats . Love his style and he is coaching his arse off

We just have a bucket with 8-9 holes and about 3-4 plugs right now . He will get his players in

Poor Galin hustles, but he just isn’t the answer. I’m not sure he could play at Samford

“Next year will be different”.

Maybe at some point we will actually make next year this year.

We do seem to have hit a wall but seeing how much our players improved from the start of the season to the Auburn game has me excited.

A full off season with Oats and our they are gonna be much improved next year.

Plus adding Rojas, Gary, and Quinerly who have all had a year with the team, and Ambrose and I assume another grad transfer.

We are gonna be really good next year, even if Kira does go pro.

Davis will develop also

You can give Galin the ball 3 ft from basket against air and he will not score

Yeah Davis has some potential, I like him.

Hawkins will be ready to go next year too, forgot about him.

Davis has promise. His knee has slowed him down, but he’s the best we have

Let’s all think about what a badass Bola would be for us this season

I expect Shack, Herb, Davis, and Reese back; Petty and Kira unknown, it’s up to them. Galin is either gone or taking a seat. What about Forbes, I don’t have a good feel on him; will he be back or will he be encouraged to look elsewhere?

As long as Hawkins doesn’t get frustrated and transfer I think he is gonna be a good one for us. He is about as big as Davis but he is more athletic. The combination of them should be nice.

By his Twitter he seems a little frustrated about his playing time, may not mean anything.

If we don’t land a decent grad transfer big man, we will be in the same bad position we are in this year where we get dominated by any post player than can walk and chew gum.
