We gotta get Beetle back. Kiras shot were barely reaching the rim at the end.

Kira was toast the minute Javon Quinerly was ruled ineligible. He gets no rest, gets tired and gets sloppy. He’s turning the ball over way too much. But what is the alternative? Galin at the point? Maybe a walk-on? We are playing with the shitty hand we’ve been dealt and doing the best we can. It’s not going to get any better. It’s hard to watch because these kids are trying and deserve better. Oats is doing great considering the handcuffs he’s wearing. The fans deserve better, the program deserves better. It sucks but what do you do? The alternatives are to keep grinding or give up. As long as they don’t quit, I love this team. Keep grinding, Bama.

Without a doubt.

I'm inclined to put Reese right behind him.

Petty seemed really hesitant tonight. With Shack scoring like that, Petty should have had a monster game

I don't understand how even at home the other team gets more foul calls than us. We got called for 25 fouls to their 19.

We get completely bent over with calls. We do make stupid fouls, but some that could go either way, never go our way

Because we obviously foul like hell. Happening once or twice and it’d just be bad luck but it seems like it happens to us home and away against equal competition.

Look, I think Oats will get us where we want to go (assuming he can recruit at a decent level). But losing at home to a decent team in February is peak Alabama basketball. Like I said in my post, the only difference from usual Alabama is we have legitimate excuses for it happening this time...7 active scholarship players.

Yeah dude. Kira missed some big opportunities late. I said nothing of the sort that the loss was all on him, but that doesn't omit him from criticism. For a guy that is projected to be an NBA player, I believe he could play better. Nothing I said was way out of the ball park. That said, his usage rate is through the roof, so that's obviously a factor.

You however entered the thread and spouted off this bull shite:

Oh. Okay. So we ready to fire another coach now? You people are such little girls

When no one said anything remotely close to criticizing Oats.

Oats just has to get his guys in. I believe Q will be huge for us. Need a big with coordination and some high IQ players. Need to go to the Grant Hill store and get us one

Petty is frustrated. He doesn’t appear to be the most mentally tough person on the court. He’s giving good effort but we need him to step up and lead. That’s not him, especially when things are tough. His scoring suffers when he’s down and he’s down right now. He needs to go off for 20 every night to give us a chance but he isn’t doing it.

I would say that not having Herb hurt a lot. He is a pretty good defender and sort of a team leader/stabilizer. We still play young in a lot of ways and also still need to build swagger.

Where in the hell is George. He’s usually pretty level headed. I want his take on the game.

Same reason we turn it over so much. Out of control when driving the lane

My dream is that Kira and Petty come back, Galin leaves, we bring in a competent big and wreck shite next year.

That's a big difference though. We have a legitimate excuse for it this year. We almost made the tourney with Rojas and Gary out for the year, Bettle has been hurt most of the year, Reese is playing with a hip he will have to have surgery on after the season, Herb was hurt the first month of the season and is out again, Quinerly's waiver got denied when so many others got approved for no reason.

On top of that teams are shooting one of the highest free throw rates in the country against us, teams that are bad at shooting threes like Kentucky and Iowa State are shooting like the 2016 Golden State warriors vs us.

Oats has done a great job considering all the factors.
