Went back and watched Oats' press conference. He seemed really agitated that we didn't get more on the offensive boards and specifically pointed out the lack of effort. I know a lot of it is coach speak, but Oats seemed to really hit this hard. Hopefully it will translate to Wednesday's game.

There was another game earlier this season we got dominated on the boards, and we came out the next game and did much better. Anyone recall what 2 games those were?

Florida killed us on the glass and the next game out was State at Coleman and we really handled them inside. That was impressive since they are strong down low.
We need to hit the glass and shoot and make our 3’s in Red Stick to win.

My main concern is that we are tired and have heavy legs. First year playing this style and a depleted bench.

LSU doesn't have any more depth than we do. They basically have a seven man rotation. Skylar Mays and Javonte Smart both play between 35 and 39 minutes a game.
Granted, they don't pay as fast as we do. Hopefully we can use that to our advantage though.

Us Vs LSU should be a high scoring game, we are 5th in the country in scoring at 83 points per game and they are 22nd with 80 points per game.

SECInside is on right now. Oats barged in his daughters rooms to wake them up and his 15yo got pissed and Said “Dad My rooms a mess why did you bring the cameras here??” And Oats replies, “ Well you should have cleaned it up”

That being said, he's got 3 kids and one his going to be headed to college in a few years...maybe incentive enough to stick around at the capstone if he's earned it!
