Going to be very interesting to follow conference play. This might be the most important year for us regarding the SEC vs Big 12 challenge.

Currently Kenpom has us losing the challenge 4-6

Just tying could be important

Also could be huge to get a sweep or even just a 2-1 this weekend from the teams not starting SEC play yet

UGA vs Memphis
Miss vs Wichita St.
SMU vs Vandy

Vegas Insider has it at -7.5. Not bad, Penn State was -10 when we played them.

According to @betonline_ag LSU basketball has an 80/1 chance to make the NCAA tournament as conference play begins

Kentucky, Florida, Auburn, Tennessee and Alabama all have better odds

One of my friends is a big Gator bball fan, he says he is sure they will lose tomorrow. I have a good feeling about it but not getting my hopes up, it's gonna be a tough one probably.

This team is clicking at the right time, it's obviously tough on the road but I got a feeling.

This isn't a team we've seen in a long while.

Excited to see the game today. Belmont and Richmond are one thing but this game will give us a good idea of how much this team has improved

Also interested to see how the styles of play match up. We want to go as fast as we can and Florida wants to play half court grind it out basketball. Interested to see if we can impose our will and style of play on an SEC team.

I think we can win this game. They’ve really struggled offensively at times. Only concern is Blackshear down low. Have to keep him off the offensive backboards.

And we have to play smart. We are on the road so they’re gonna get the majority of the calls. Understand that coming in. We don’t need someone picking up a couple quick fouls and then spending the majority of the game on the bench like Petty did at Penn St.

Someone that’s followed college basketball a long time please help me understand...

I’ve heard and read a few different places about how games are called generally in favor of the home team. Is that more of an SEC thing or just CBB in general? Is it something that is just an accepted part of the game?
