LSU looks very Gottfried era-esque to me. Waters really paced what they did on offense. Without him they look lost.

Just floating around jacking up bad shots.

Pretty spot on. Same recruiting tactics as well.

They don't have a true PG, that's hurting them a lot.

SEC isn't great this year but our SEC schedule starts out very tough. First 4 games are @Florida, Miss St, @ Kentucky, Auburn. Auburn, Kentucky, and Florida may be the best 3 teams in the SEC this season.

If we can come out of that four game stretch with two wins I'll be very happy.

Really like the way our SEC schedule closes out though, I think we have a good shot to win 6 out of our last 7 conference games and get on a good run going into the SECT.

Definitely. Tennessee took a big step backwards today. I feel bad for the guy that got injured

Hard to see many SEC teams getting into the tourney this year. We may need to finish top 5 in the conference to get in, which I think is doable.

If we keep improving, with as weak as the SEC is, I think we can post an 11-7/10-8 conference record

I can’t wait to see what Oats can without an injury/ineligible ridden roster with a bunch of freshman contributors. Assuming that the offense stays the same and the defense should improve just because everybody would be more rested

Whoa, I didn't realize we have only one senior on the team (Bolden). I was thinking we had more. Next year could potentially be really good if everything goes to planned.

I'd like to see Smith transfer after the season. No disrespect to him, but I feel that he's in over his head and this is the wrong system for him

I agree. He doesn't seem to be adapting well to the system. Maybe he shows improvement as the year goes on? Don't know, but he definitely isn't fitting in as of now.

Serious question:
What record would we be with Avery still as the coach?
6-5 isn't great, but I can't imagine we'd have a better record, or even the same.
I'd think around 4-7 or worse

3-8 or worse. We struggled defending 3 and would not have near the PPG that we have this year so far

Penn:Loss
FAU:Win
URI: Loss
Furman: Loss
UNC:Loss
ISU:Loss
SoutherMiss: Win
SFA:Win
PSU:Loss
Samford:Win
Belmont: Loss

4-7 right now is my guess and that’s with Petty and Kira who probably wouldn’t be here if Avery was still coach
