Every time Belmont seemed like they were capturing momentum, someone came up with a big shot. Very good win for an improving team.

I really feel bad for him. I honestly thought he just wasn't a good ball player, but Avery was just a shitty coach. If he stays next season and continues to grow, he will be SEC 1st team next year

I'm pretty all in on that performance. That was a lot of fun. Like I'm struggling to think of the last time I enjoyed watching an Alabama basketball game that much. The Auburn SEC tournament game in the Sexton year? Some of the home games during Anthony Grant's second season?
If we can get close to that type of production out of Javian and Reese at the 5 we will be tough to stop.

You can see we're improving. Still need to improve the scoring droughts, but this team is starting to adapt to the system.

If Petty continues to play like this for the rest of the season, he’ll get some NBA attention. Hope he comes back though.

Didn’t get to watch really any of the game but that’s clearly a big time performance by the team. Beat Richmond next week and we’ve got a lot of positive momentum heading into SEC play.

I’ve been one of Petty’s biggest critics. He was such a heralded recruit and was such a disappointment. My sincerest apologies. He hasn’t been coached. Avery was such a fricking waste of time, talent and money. And Battle was such an incompetent athletic director.
My God, it’s a wonder the entire sports program isn’t in shambles. As it is, he singlehandedly set the men’s basketball and baseball programs back years.
I’m proud of this team, those guys, and this staff. Everybody is on the same page and working hard to get better and it shows. We aren’t Final Four material but they battle and they are hustling. That’s all I ask. Just keep busting your arse guys! We see the progress and support you.
