Maybe they're generational talents but that doesn't mean they're generational players, yet. There's a difference between the two.
Take Lawrence for example. He may have generational talent. He checks all the boxes. That said, as of right now he isn't a generational player.
Also, should generational be singular ? If a generation is say 30 years, should only one player at a particular position be christened a generational talent ?
Julio, Amari or Jeudy ? Which one would Bama fans consider generational if at all ?

The issue is what did he do with that spiral? He had one great half and that is it. He didn't win the Heisman, he didn't win the SEC, and he didn't win a championship as a starter. Blake Sims had an SEC championship as a starter. Jake Coker won an SEC and national with as little talent as he had. Being a leader is more than talent.

By saying "he" you obviously don't mean "team." So Tua doesn't get credit for the '18' SEC championship in any manner?
Are you going to then give him credit for winning Alabama the National Championship? He was only the MVP of the game.
And it's "Jake" Coker. And all he had on that team was arguably the greatest running back in the history of Alabama football and NFL talent all over the defense and OL. And the world's greatest punter to flip the field. Poor "Jake."

I said he didn't win a championship as a starter, which is true. I love the guy but he could have done so much more with his talent if he hadn't been so focused on his pass completion and learned to throw it away. Also if we want to discuss the talent around a player. Tua had at least 3 first round WRs helping him out. Jeudy, Ruggs, and Smith, and Waddle will probably be a first rounder next year.

If Julio had played with Tua in Sark’s offense, he would have shattered every receiving record at Alabama. Generational player. The other two are great players, Julio is Hall of Fame caliber.

As great of a football player as he is, you’re talking about a 25 to 27 million dollars guaranteed investment that you’re making and that's frightening for some teams.
Hell we're talking about 4 years for 25 million. 50% of the people on the roster are making more than 6 million per year.
