I think the style of offense that Saban wants for us is not what is good for Jalen. This reminds me of the Dallas cowboys sticking with the 95 single back with Dak Prescott instead of adapting to a new system... It may not work in today's game.

Jalen would do better in a roll out system where he could be more mobile and run in one on one situationss or sling it down field. This pocket QB ball control thing won't work. We'll lose in a shootout...as we saw tonight.

Plus, it takes pressure off this o line to hold blocks.

I watched Nebraska today and couldn't help but think Milroe is a perfect fit there

You can only roll out so much. You need to actually be able to read the defense and throw the football to be a qb.

Agreed. We should be running a true RPO HUNH.

The style of offense that works for Milroe is one that allows him to play minor conference opponents.
