Jerry Palm has us in as a 10 seed in his latest projection. Long way to go, but it's mid January and there's a chance

I used to have a bookmark to all of the braketology sites and know by heart when they updated. I don't have any of that info any more.

This could be fun again!

I know Vandy has underwhelmed based on preseason expectations, but it would be our biggest win of the season.

Agreed.

We've typically played like crap @Vandy going all the way back to the days of Wimp.

IF we go into Vandy and win I'll let myself start thinking about the tourney as a real possibility.

Vandy is averaging 78.9 points on 47.1 percent shooting and allowing 65.5 points on 37.1 percent shooting.

We're averaging 66.5 points on 43.1 percent shooting and allowing 65.3 points on 39.8 percent shooting.

I know we should not win, but this team is starting to make a habit of doing things they shouldn't be able to do.

Riley Norris just channeled his inner Larry Bird. Maybe just maybe Bama can win at Vandy.

I'm pretty nervous for tomorrow's game. If I'm nervous, it means CAJ is doing something right

Sitting here, watching the Dayton-George Washington game. Such a beautifully physical game that isn't overloaded with horrendous tick tacky fouls. Amazing how fun a basketball game can be without constantly seeing teams in the bonus with 10 minutes left. I'm not just talking about Alabama, I'm talking about SEC officials in general. We have one team- Mississippi State- that is in the top 100 in personal fouls per game. Their ranking is 92. I think a large part is because of undisciplined play, but SEC officials allow absolutely no contact.

Vandy is has a pretty good perimeter game. Right now, they've attempted 336 3-pointers and had made 135 of those (40.2%). That's best for 16th in the nation. Along with that, they have a solid decense. They're among one of the best in defending the 3. Opponents have attempted 279 shots from outside the arc and have only made 76 of those (27%). In terms of FG%, teams are only shooting 37% from the field against them. Im on my phone right now, but I was going to do a break down of the games they've had at home

Vandy should win, but thanks to the energy and like CAJ has brought to the program, I feel a sliver of hope. I vaguely think I've felt it in the past but it has been a long time and for some reason the memories are in plaid.

It's weird.

I don't have a good feeling about this game. I also won't be able to watch any of it either. I can't remember the last time I've had to miss a game

Vegas is usually pretty spot-on, but that seems a bit outrageous considering how much Vandy has struggled and our recent dominance over South Carolina. Sure we usually lose in Memorial, but it's not like it's always a blowout.

Vegas may end up getting it right, but 11 points is a lot compared to what we've done .

Watching ND-Duke right now. ND is giving Duke all they can handle right now and is up by 5 in Cameron Indoor. Would make our win over ND look even better.

I love this time of year. So many great conference games; such great basketball.

Duke is s ridiculously quick and good at ball movement. They always look for the open shot. They do this quick dribble drive offense that basically cuts and passes through the middle, then will kick it out and bank it from 3. I know CAJ will try to implement this uptempo fast break offense, and he's switched to a half-court offense with this year's players, but I really hope that the team is this fundamentally sound on offense. Man its' beautiful.
