Yeah only 11 shots inside the paint. I didn't understand that game plan at all, because USM was one team would could have taken advantage of due to depth disparity and size. Obasahan's style as a slasher fits this mold. I hope that was just because USM was bad, and they were just trying shite out.

Why does every player on the team think they can shoot 3s better than Norris? The guy gets less shots than any other guy on the team.
They are more aggressive with the ball than Norris. Occasionally he'll be assertive and look for his shots, but more often than not he's looking to pass when he touches the ball.

Definitely. Norris is usually setting the pick to open the shot. I would like to see him more involved offensively, but he seems to contribute a good bit down low. Stats won't prove it though, he only averages 1.9 REB per game.
I wish Coleman would stop taking so many fricking jumpshots early.

Only 17 tickets remaining for the Oregon game. Going to be a great atmosphere.

Only tickets they have left are at the very top for $42

Have any of y'all watched Clemson? How do we match up with them?
Posted on 12/8/15 at 2:51 pm to Bryant91092
I watched them vs Minnesota. They're a team that can get hot, but rely heavily on Blossomgame. 59% from the field, 44% from beyond the arc, 18PPG, and 7 RPG. We'll have to zero in on him and play man most of the night. He's attempted 19 more shots than anyone on his team.
Hard to say what kind of team they are, because they've played some pretty weak teams and won convincingly, but have lost against their quality opponents in UMASS and Minnesota. If it tells you anything, they're 78th in 3-point FG attempts per game with 73 attempts. They good ball movement and know how to set up the open shot (129 assist on the year).

I tried to read up on their boards about their team, but Tigernet is impossible to read, and their fans seem to not care about basketball. I has the sads

An insider on BOL is saying Dazon got hurt pretty bad at practice today.
Posted on 12/9/15 at 7:44 pm to Bryant91092
frick, I hope it's exaggerated. He's my favorite player.

Broken ankles are very tricky. I hope it isn't that serious. Maybe it's just a sprain

It's really going to hurt our rebounding

As far as the Dazon Ingram injury is concerned, it is all still a rumor at this point from what I can tell on Twitter.
I haven't seen any confirmation.
I really hope that it has been exaggerated, because losing Dazon is going to be a big blow imho.

When losing (hopefully it's not true) your starting PG really hurts your team's rebounding.
That is so Alabama basketball.
We need Taylor, Kessens and Hall to really pick it up on the glass.
Especially Taylor, he has to do a better job of staying out of foul trouble.
Kessens has played really well with the minutes he's had and has earned more playing time imo.
And I would also like to see Hall get a little more time, because I think he has the potential to be a difference maker on the defensive side of the ball at least as he gets more comfortable.
Avery needs to rein Coleman in a little bit. 6/36 from beyond the arc is terrible. He needs to be driving the lane or looking for teammates more often, not leading the team in 3 point attempts.
I had a lot of doubts about Shannon Hale coming into the season, but he has quickly shut me the hell up. He does still make some bonehead mistakes, but he has really turned his offensive game up.
Can't say enough about Retin. He too makes some bonehead plays from time to time, but he's the unquestioned leader of the team. He's been solid on both ends of the floor.
RTR America was pretty vocal about Arthur Edwards a couple weeks ago and I couldn't have agreed with him more at the time. Edwards has been improving though and is shooting very well from outside after a pretty bad start to the season. I do think he is relying on the outside shot a little too much as evidenced by only 6 FT attempts all season.
Riley has been a little up and down this season, but there has been more good than bad. And he gives as much effort and hustle as anyone, particularly on defense and rebounding, which is something that I really appreciate.
Looks like Bryant nailed it pertaining to Brandon Austin. 4/17 from the floor and 1/13 from beyond the arc. Hopefully we see some improvement from him throughout the season.
Dazon has played very well thus far imo. Leads the team in rebounding and assists and plays very good defense. He's always looking to get teammates involved like a true PG. I would like to see him use his size advantage more often and drive to the bucket. FT shooting really needs to improve, he's only at 59% for the season.
We need to rebound better, cut down on turnovers and take advantage of our FT opportunities. 100/150 on the year so far isn't where i'd like to be. FT shooting has always been a massive pet peeve of mine.
All in all, I couldn't be happier with where we are right now though, unless we were undefeated and won every game by 20+. Realistic expectations probably didn't have us at 5-2 right now with a couple of top 25 wins though. I'm really liking the Avery Era so far and think that the best is still to come. Hopefully the Dazon injury news isn't accurate, but if it is we are going to need guys to step up their game. Coleman will see an increase in minutes and will have to make better decisions with the ball especially. I'm really looking forward to the Clemson game, but it is going to be a lot tougher to win without Dazon if he's out.
Where am I right, where am I wrong? Any thing you guys disagree with? Any additional thoughts?
