I'd take Jacob's bad defense over Kessan's in a heartbeat.

Being quite honest, I just don't think either ever provided much, if any, quality minutes. I didn't view them any better than a walk-on. Honestly that's what made our depth under Grant even more laughable. We'd have 9 scholarship player with 1 or 2 of them being mid-major talents.

I'd take Jacobs over Kessens for his offense, but Kessens is the better defender and it's not that close. Kessens is a somewhat poor defender. Jacobs was a revolving door.

I'd take my fart in any part of basketball over Kessens.

I'm pulling for Oregon to win the whole tourney. It would be nice to go to Oregon next year and beat the defending national champs. We almost beat them this year without Ingram and Hale. We should be better next year so well at least play them close.

I seriously hope I can witness Bama play as good as some of these sweet 16 teams have been playing.

I believe we can. Avery has our guys playing smart. As he gets better players and the team becomes more comfortable with Averys style they will begin to play smart AND fast.

First step is just worry about getting in the tourney. I think we'll sneak in off the bubble next year. Once u get in, it's a whole different ball game then. There's no way to predict where a team will finish once they are in the tourney. Any team can lose and any team can win. I can't wait until we finally win a game in the tourney again.

Agreed...it would be great to see Bama playing a game on a night like tonight and winning. Imagine if Obasohan & Bama were on a run like Buddy Hield & Oklahoma are right now. That would be a blast.

I completely understand this basketball thing. I stand by what I said. Jacobs, Eblen, and Hankerson didn't deserve scholarships. Jacobs was decent but for a guy with his body type he didn't do shite on defense. No need to even say anything about Eblen. And 7 points per game at Wyoming helps your argument how? Played basketball my whole life and if I was a coach I wouldn't give any kid a full ride that just wanted to play offense like Jacobs.

Jeff Goodman said barring a last minute surprise, Jerod Haase is going to be the next coach at Stanford. Hopefully that means guys like Reese, Herb Jones, and Jamal Johnson are strictly focused on going to Bama or Auburn. Did they have any signees that would be worth looking at if they opted out of their LOI?

Not really. Just two small guards. One got a 3-star from Rivals.

Vandy HC Stallings is a serious candidate for the Pitt HC job according to CBS Sports. If he leaves, isn't there some recruits that we wanted that were leaning towards Vandy that may flip?

Ya'll remember when we beat Villanova by 20+?

Good times.
