I hope Johnson isn't being the micromanager of offense like Grant did. I can't handle that. Just play wide open and hopefully hit shots.

Sure, but it wasn't there the first 3/4 of the season either, and we ran aggressive confident offensive sets and played with a sense of purpose.
All of a sudden the last 3 weeks we have played scared and slow just like we used to with Grant.

Definitely some truth to this. After the Xavier game, he switched the offense back to halfcourt because they couldn't run the fast break uptempo offense. Next year with Key and Davis should provide some improvement, because both can push it up court and have very good skills when it comes to handling the ball.
This team is so fundamentally bad though. I couldnt even imagine pulling a team together that plays this terrible. Anthony Grant has got to be the most retarded person when it comes to evaluating talent and player development. It's like these players never touched a basketball before they got to UA.

That's a fair point. I was mostly commenting on the "hoping it doesn't bleed into next year"
Hopefully with the pretty highly touted recruits coming in we can have a much better squad next year. Also that transfer that was ineligible this year looks promising.

The worst part of the Grant era was how scared and tight we played. It was part of the offensive micro managing mentioned above.
My favorite part of this team was that they played balls to the wall aggressive with no fear of screwing up or failing. If they turned it over, so what, do it hard. That is all gone now.
