Buck Johnson's son, AU people are convinced he is theirs if they want him
They say that only because they got his teammate, Wiley. Chances of that are slim-to-none IMO. Not only is it a rival school, they have Bryce Brown (Freshman) and the 2016 5-star Heron, both of which are combo guards like Johnson.
Edit: LOL at the "if they want him" part. Like Auburn is in position to turn away 4-Star talent.

Ok so we play Ole miss Thursday night. If we play like we're capable of playing, we can win. I doubt we'll win, but we can. Next day would be Kentucky, first game we lost by like 16 and the second was like 20+. 99% chance we lose if we make it here but I'd love to pull another upset this year. After that, we would probably play South Carolina or UGA. Win that, and we play either A&M or Vandy (could be LSU but I doubt it). I know this isn't gonna happen but I'm just laying it out for us to think about. RTR! #BuckleUp

We can definitely beat Ole Miss. It's just a matter of stopping Moody.
I'm honestly totally disinterested in the SECT as a whole now that we're going to the NIT. No matter what we do, we'll still be facing the same scenario in the end.
As fun as this year was with little expectations, it still sucked to get sucked right into the hype and watch them implode at the end of the regular season. So really, I'm just hoping they can win a game or two in the NIT and just get ready for next season.
I know we lost Ferguson, but we still bring in two solid players that will contribute right away. Braxton Key can play 2-4 and is an excellent ball handler- something Bama doesn't have other than Coleman and Dazon. Ar'mond is also dangerous from behind the arc, a good pull up shooter, and knows how to get to the basket. And maybe we can get Bruno. His only other team he has under consideration is UCF, so I think it's down to us and FSU.

Well that other 7'0" kid that signed with FSU is not going to try and go pro so that has to be good for us. If we can find someone that can play above the rim like Tony Mitchell I will be satisfied

Alabama (out): A loss against Ole Miss in the SEC tournament opener ends hope. A win and then another victory against Kentucky might be enough. If the Tide lose, they need help from other bubble teams.

I don't even know if a win over Kentucky would put us in at this point.

Yeah most people are saying we need 3 wins. Just nice to know if we beat Ole miss, we'll be able to watch the UK game knowing if we beat them, we may have a shot

I hope we beat Ole Miss so that we can be assured at least one NIT home game. I'll be stunned beyond belief if we play Kentucky and it's competitive in the second half.

Yeah. Idk what it is about UK, it's never that competitive when we play them but there's always a couple of SEC teams that upset them every year.

They're certainly not unbeatable (I just don't think we can do it), both teams playing in the play-in game beat them. Both of those games were earlier in the year though and road games for Kentucky. Nashville will be a virtual Kentucky home game.

FIFY, doesn't matter where the tourney is. Their fans shut down the home fort for the week and go support.
