That's awesome. I could see it happening. I don't like that final record tho lol. It's still good for Avery's first year tho.

Alabama is giving the first 1,500 students and 500 fans at tomorrow's game free foam fingers according to the Alabama men's basketball Twitter account

They should do some games as different themes. Like last year we had a Stat Wars nignt. We should have a different theme for every game. It'd be really fun.

Taylor/Hall/Kessens will have to play smart and under control to avoid piling up the fouls. If they don't, Tyler Davis will kill us and aTm will win by double digits.

Cary Clark went and listened to Bob Simon speak at an event last night and said King's surgery was for his appendix. He'll be good in a couple weeks.

I figured it was something minor or we would've heard about it otherwise (i.e. ACL).

Aggies have 3 guys who average double figures in PPG:

(G) Jalen Jones (6-7)- 16 PPG, 7.2 RPG
(G) Danuel House (6-7)- 15.7 PPG, 4.9 RPG
(C) Tyler Davis (6-10)- 11 PPG, 5.6 RPG

Taylor will have a huge task inside against Davis.

A&m is 96th in the nation in scoring offense, averaging close to 77PPG. They're also averaging 38.4 RPG (79th in the nation). If Bama is going to have a shot in this game, they are going to have to play match A&M on the glass. Aggies are 42nd in the nation in scoring defense, giving up an average of 65.4 a game--Bama isn't far behind, just giving up 67 PPG. They're shooting 45% from the field, 51% in the paint, and 36% from beyond the arc.

1. Nick King had his appendix removed yesterday and will miss about 2 weeks. Good year to do this.
2. We still hope to sign a true post late. Maybe two.
3. Bruno is not a sure bet to qualify, but we hope to get him on campus for a visit soon.
4. Braxton Key will be a beast next year (as will Nick King). Both can play the stretch 4 or the 3.
5. Donta Hall is working to add low post moves to his game. He came from HS w/ none.
6. We are considering and working on a home and home with Texas. Could be fun.
7. We have improved from 326 (out of 336 D1 teams So Miss week) in offensive rebounding to 202. It's been a point of emphasis.
8. Dazon is making great progress on is rehab and will qualify for a RS. He should start light jogging in 2 weeks.
9. The entire staff flew to Texas and back Sunday to watch T Ferg play. His academics are fine and he will sign /UA.
10. With more ammo, the plan is to pick up the offensive pace considerably next year.

This was Cary's entire post. A lot of good info from Simon.

Them having two guys at the 2/3 that are 6'7 make it that much more important for Hale to be able to go. We need his size.

In away games, including neutral, they're averaging 70 PPG, while opponents are averaging around 68 PPG.

They're 5-4 away from home. So, they're definitely not impossible to beat (has had close contest with Mississippi State, lost to Arizona State), but they are tough.
