Most people expect Wood to commit to Auburn very soon

I haven't kept up with the 2018 recruits that much so idk anything about where each player is projected to land. Where did you see that Diante Wood is likely committing to Auburn?

Gongora, just off the top of my head, Monk will go in lottery this year as one and done at 6'3.

EVen though it's early, his 247 page does say "warmer" for AU. He's listed as a 3*, but he should grow over the summer.
Avery and him have met though

Trey Jemison's brother is in the class too I think. I wonder if anyone will offer both of them

Oh ok thanks. Hopefully we have a chance at getting him

I wasn't saying it was the reason we're not on the bubble. I'm just saying I don't get why Arkansas deserves to be in
I don't know that Arkansas will get it, but if they do it will probably be due to the fact that as things sit right now, they went 11-2 in OOC games with an OOC SOS of 52. Alabama went 7-5 OOC and our OOC SOS is 84.

They won more games against a tougher schedule. Simple as that.

Love a quote from this week's ESPN bubble watch, that says something like: "The Kentucky game was a microcosm of the Alabama season. The tide only look like a tournament team when they don't have the ball".
So, we're half way there!

And next year we add players that could help with the half we don't have right now, offense. That's why I'm excited about next year. I know they'll be young, but we have guys airballing shots over and over again along with turning the ball over a ton and missing most of their free throws this year. I don't see how we miss the tourney next year now that we're bringing in guys who can score.

I just want to point out that Gottfried is currently 14-12 and next to last in the ACC.

A report came out yesterday that he'll be fired at the end of the year but NC State responded and denied it. I believe there's a good chance he's gone after this year

6'3 and Under PG/SG: Kyrie Irving, Jeryd Bayless, Brandon Jennings, Eric Gordon, Derrick Rose, Mike Conley, Randy Foye, and Brandon Knight.
Past 9 drafts. Might have missed a couple. And if you're including this year Malik Monk, DeAaron Fox, and Dennis Smith are all 6'3" and under and I would bank on all 3 going lottery, very probable top 10. Kyrie Irving went #1 and only played 11 games at Duke. Most of the top-10 PGs coming out of HS are 6'3" and up. It's not like all the top 6'2" and under PGs aren't panning out; there are just not many of them ranked that high.

BOL's game preview for the Mizzou game came out today and it said we're taking a "business mindset" on FTs heading into the game. They now stop practice every 10 minutes and shoot free throws. Here's a quote from the article.
Am I understanding correctly what that article says? Looks like it's saying each player had to hit 20 FTs in a row. I don't even believe that's possible
quote:
The former NBA Coach of the Year said he challenged every player on his roster to make one free throw. If they didn’t, they had to run. After passing that test, the players had to make two in a row. That process continued until each player watched 20 straight free throws drop through the net.

There is no way all of our players hit 20 in a row. I'm not sure one of our guys could do that.

I would've loved to have seen Jimmie do this, but I have no doubt the majority of the roster could. I shot around 55-60% from the line in HS (and actually shot better from 3 my senior year). I shot around 90% in practice. It's a mental thing.

Christian Clark who was a walk on on last year's team said our guys even missed most of them in practice.

It says each player watched, so maybe they all just watched AJ Jr hit 20 straight
