They play the game of their life when they play against us. I just don't understand it.

In both games we had a ton of open 3s but also We only had 8 3s in the first game so we didn't "win" by shooting 3s there.

Auburn has a ton of guys that should be 40-45%+ 3FG% guys but are like Riley Norris and can't hit open looks. For whatever reason, these good shootes find their stroke against Alabama

If we ever get a new arena, it'd be awesome if we got a floor to do court projections. Those things are pretty cool.

I hope Daniel Giddens is as bit as good as his hype. We desperately need a true interior presence. Taylor is awful.

I went to school back in 04 with a kid that played basketball for auburn and he was a hell of athlete and was pressured by everyone to play football (we went to the semifinals that year in football and lost 6-0) but his dad would not let him play and kept his focus on bball. He would of been a hell of a football player.

in nutshell, with the exception of Kentucky and Florida.... Basketball in SEC Football country is like Soccer in America.

The expectation next year is to get back to the NCAA tournament.

Anything less than that is a major disappointment.

I don't know if Avery hyped the team up or we hyped ourselves up..,.if you go back lots of people thought King would be the man and that Armond would be pretty decent. Probably thought that Hale would add something as well...Next year I won't have any expectations at all. Won't listen to any of the players on social media or pay attention to any of their videos where they are showcasing their talents lol. Means nothing until the game starts.

I fell victim to this for three offseasons.

You know King has played like 5 minutes all season because he got a lung infection and lost 15-20 lbs, right? He's not even dressing out for games now.

Yes I know that. But was available to play for some of the very first games and did nothing. You go back in this thread I'm pretty sure its safe to say we all thought he would be a day 1 starter and averaging double digit points.

I actually held on to hope for a while. I really thought we would start to put things together when we started the SEC schedule. I held out hope and we are worse than we were last year

Seemed like all I kept hearing was we wouldn't have one consistent scorer and that we'd have to rely on a number of guys to contribute. That's not good.

I also heard that Davis was behind Austin all the way into the fall. After Avery took Norris to media days I figured he had beaten out King. During the summer Hale was hurt and Ingram had to get heavy tape for every workout. Not to knock anybody but it became apparent we were going to struggle.

It's a miracle we've done as well as we have.

Hearing Giddens will be given the green light to shoot it from all over. No idea what really means. I'm guessing he'll routinely take 15 footers and maybe even a 3 or two per game.

I'm afraid us as fans are guilty of hyping the team. It was obvious in the Davis video that his release was somewhat unorthodox and super slow. Somehow only a few of us spotted it.

That said he needs more minutes than what he's getting. That's the only way he's going to improve.

I think a lot of us saw his weird shooting motion. I did think he would be a lot better for us though. He gets his shots off. He just doesn't make anything. I'd like him playing more than Avery Jr definitely.

I would bet money we lose both games this week, but I'd love for us to show up and act like we care for once and pull off an upset. I just want something, anything good to come out of this season. This year we've had nothing. Last year we beat 4 ranked teams and were very close to making the tourney. This year we haven't beat anyone ranked and won't make the tourney and won't even be that close. Last year we split games with Auburn. This year we get swept.

I just want to actually enjoy a game for once this season

We might hang around with South Carolina, but we're going to get our shite pushed in by Kentucky.

I just get tired of the talking our players and coaches do. We have a bad loss and it's the same ole "we've gotta bounce back", "we didn't play as good as we could have", "we've gotta get better". Talking doesn't do anything. You have to actually do something on the court. Before every game Avery Jr is on twitter saying "Lock In" and then after the losses he says "Bounce Back". How about stay off of twitter the day of the game and ACTUALLY lock in??

Edit: Sorry I'm melting this morning, just get sick and tired of missing the tourney every year and it just builds up anger over time lol

We have a very sorry team guys. Just have to deal with it, I don't think coaching is the problem. Just don't have the players and yes its up to Avery to go and get players but this is Nt Kentucky and he has only had one season.

I'm not really mad at Avery or the coaches too much. I think they're doing about as good as they can with what they have. The players just make me mad tho. Half of them act like they don't care
