Speculation mostly. But everyone I know that’s ever had any sort of info “feels good” about it and it makes complete sense for him to commit here right after the visit.

He’s a stand up guy too he didnt commit on his visit because as it turns out he wanted to let the WV coaches know he wasn't returning and to thank them first.
Glad we got him I think he is gonna be very impactful this season. Not only from a rebounding and defense perspective but having him frees up Nelson to play other positions aside from the 5. Walters can now play the 3 some, Griffen can move up to the 2 more often. It has a ripple effect.

I posted that here before I saw the trilly gif. I went to on3 to post it after I did here and saw someone had posted that trilly elephant gif. He did beat me by about 5 minutes this time. I posted that we got Grant Nelson and Estrada before anyone else did, not that I care who is first, I’m just glad when we get them committed. Whenever I hear something I let you guys know.

Yeah. It's a huge get. Fulfills a really big need. Another big man (in general) was critical. And interior D and rebounding. Just the perfect get for us at this point. Gives us a guy that projects (from Juco and limited PT last yr) to be potentially elite in terms of interior D, rebounding, and finishing around the rim. That's the perfect replacement for Bediako. He's not going to put up big points. But, he shouldn't have to. Play great D, rebound, and clean up the junk at a really high FG% will be just what the doctor ordered.

Do we think it’s possible quinerly returns? If he does I think we should be the top team in the SEC again. Complete roster 1-13.
What a job Nate is doing. Getting this done after facing national unwarranted criticism and losing two first rounders and all three assistants. He delivers a great offseason overhaul. I do believe that there should be a few tweaks to his in game coaching philosophy but this is the man for the job. Let’s keep pushing guys and make this a basketball school also.
