Not gonna panic until I see how the last two spots are filled. But yeah I’d be prepared for alot of growing pains November-December. Roster will have a lot of talent but little experience.

Not Quinerly! I’ve seen him choke on way too many late game critical moments. I’m not that thrilled that Q is returning. Part of last year’s underachieving seemed to be connected to him and his intensity or lack of it. I guess we’ll see how it works out but I was ready to move on.

My only worry rn is I feel like we need to fill these last 2 spots with some guys we know are gonna make an impact. Seeing us reach out to multiple D2 guys and a Missouri player who no one has even heard of is a little worrisome. But we’re “passing” on guys like Bridges, Antoine Davis, etc…

We will get guys so I think everybody needs to take a step back and just breathe a little. We have a talented team right now but some leftovers needs to put in the work this off season to get us where we want to be.
I will always trust Coach Oats & company because they always have a plan. We will get somebody who fits our system just watch.

This transfer portal shite is out of control. How about coaching up the guys you offered a scholarship just a year or two ago? What a crazy idea.

I trust our staff. It’s not panic time YET. But I am just a little worried. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt tho and see where we go from here. Hopefully we can get Akot at least.

After last year I'd completely understand if they passed on a guy they weren't certain would be a good locker room personality. I share your concerns though. We seem to be grasping for straws right now. Hopefully we gain some traction with someone who is currently in the draft and isn't really focusing on the portal.

I trust Oats and Co fully, I have no doubt we’ll field a competitive team and get the most out of our roster. Morale will be high heading into the season, just gotta get through the offseason speculations and inevitable questioning of every little thing because we’re deprived Bama bball junkies and that’s all there is to do on here atm

I just hope we fill the last two scholarships. I’ll have no problem convincing myself whatever warm body it is will help us win, but I can’t do that if we don’t bring anyone in.

We need to find at least one contributor. I'm expecting zero from JQ next year. He won't be able to do what he does coming off a knee surgery. He damn sure won't be able to guard anybody with only one good knee.
Then we gotta find somebody who can offer more than Juwan Gary and Jusuan Holt. I guess guys like that just grow on trees everywhere. Wonder why did we even recruit them.

Agreed. We are the people who convinced ourselves that Carl Engstrom would become a good player with a year or two of development and that Junior would be a solid backup PG.
And as a practical matter we all know someone is going down with a major knee, ankle, or foot injury in October because Alabama basketball, which would leave us with 9 healthy players.
