Also, Timme got exposed defensively and on the glass. He got abused all night

Gonzaga probably should have stopped switching everything at some point.

Baylor was too athletic for them.

Herb spent a lot of time trying to back people down and wasn't all that effective doing it. You saw Petty trying it on occasion. One reason we didn't run anything much through the post IMO is we didn't have anyone that could.

Bediako comes on board Alabama will be a much bigger team next season. Two players at 6'11 one 6'9 and KAH at 6'8, along with Gary who plays a lot bigger than he is.

If you watch the videos from of who he learned his offense from and the Buffalo teams, the offense doesn't run through the post.

There's also not much drop-off with Baylor's bench. So LOADED with talent!

Eh. I didn’t really see it that way.

I thought Baylor was an all around better team tonight. They moved better without the ball, they hustled more and they shot way better from deep.

Sure but Gonzaga smokes lots of quicker teams. I think USC probably has better athletes than Baylor- certainly at the 4 and 5 spots.

UCLA gives Baylor a better game IMO, they were a better matchup. They were seeded too low and got hot at the right time, let's face it Gonzaga got lucky to beat them.

who on Bama's team would have started on either of the teams that played last night?

Herb's starting anywhere. He just brings too much to the table not to be on the floor but overall I see your point.

To me the 2020/21 Bama team had the same feel of Saban's 2008 team. Very well coached and worked their arses off but were just a little short of having what was needed to compete with the really top tier teams.

Here's hoping the 2021/2022 and forward teams do what the football team did after 2008.

Herb may have started for Gonzaga but i still see him coming off the bench for BU.

On a second note both teams shot FT's like you would expect a good team to shoot.

Is this supposed to be some sort of criticism of the talent level of our roster?

All that talk about Gonzaga being the greatest ever was laughable, a true dominant post player would destroy Mustache Boy.

He's a good player, but could you imagine him up against a Bill Walton , Kareem, Shaq or Hakeem? There were a lot of college teams from the past that didn't win titles that would wipe the floor with that team.

Yeah, it's pretty wild that a college player would get wrecked by 4 HoF centers that have like a dozen NBA MVP awards between them.

Arkansas 94 would have smoked Gonzaga. Big Nasty, Stewart's fat arse pulling up from the Hog's tail, Dillard and Thurman would have rained more threes than Baylor did

We shot FTs well for most of the season, then UCLA happened.
