I wonder how dirty Hodgson is as a recruiter? Obviously a lot smarter than Bill Armstrong and Will Wade for sure

Yep knew hodgson was the shark... He seems like he d just be no bs and straight to the point. Kids respond to that way better than we often think. Armstrong showed what a POS she was going after coach Pett prior to sec final last year.

I didn’t take Slater’s tweet to mean anything specific, just that we would be all over the portal. Seems it would be a tad early for a commitment.

I hope we reach out to Will Richard. Freshman guard/wing who was a high end two-way player as a Freshman.
Obviously if Aimaq is interested he's an automatic take, but ultimately, I'd like a PG, defensive minded wing and a shooting specialist from the transfer portal.

My Portal Priorities would be(Assuming we have 4 portal spots open)
1. PG
2. Sharpshooter 2/3
3. A 4/5 who can step out and knock down a 3 at a reliable clip
4. A reliable shooter, position doesn’t matter

To expand on your list, I would emphasize defensive ability and length as well.

I don't think there is a program in the country that talks to more portal kids than Arkansas. They were all over everyone last cycle and they are already all over everyone again this cycle. Credit to Muss and his staff for all the overtime they must have to put in to keep their program front and center with this stuff.

Not sure if he was in the portal when you posted that, but he's in now for sure and Evan Miya has him ranked as the #1 overall player in the portal.

Dude, I know. It's like they see a name pop up in the portal and just automatically send an email or make a quick call to them whether they have any serious interest or not. Almost like it's halfway just another way to market the program and keep their name out there as much as possible. And i'm not hating on it at all, it's not a dumb idea by any means even if that's all they are doing.

If this was the actual wish list we were working off of, this is what I would take based only off of what is in the portal at the time i'm posting it.
1. Jaelin Llewellyn (Princeton)
2. Noah Freidel (SDSU)
3. Fardaws Aimaq (Utah Valley)
4. Jalen Bridges (WVU)
There are other players that would fit the requirements and I didn't do a super deep dive, but this would be pretty solid.
