I think it’s a good hire for LSU if he can recruit. Wade wasn’t a great in game coach anyways.

Kira was also without question a more capable defender.
I agree with everything you said but this. Kira may have been the worst defensive player I've seen in my days watching Alabama basketball, especially as a Freshman.

I also think the people not wanting him back are crazy. He showed a lot of flashes and that's what you look for in a freshman. He has incredible field vision and has the passing and finishing tools to be a great PG for us next year.
He only needs confidence and to work on his horrible decision-making, which are two areas where you expect most freshmen to grow. Honestly, his turnover numbers would have dropped significantly without his haphazard cross-court passes and lazy perimeter passes. If he looked to score first instead of immediately looking for the pass, I think this would also help solve a lot of his issues.

Man, Jaden Bradley is exciting to think about in our system. The way he explodes past guys and then immediately finds the right guy once the defense caves is beautiful. His length, strength and finishing ability, too. And he's doing it against elite high school teams.

Yeah, he's my favorite of the incoming guys. He's also incredibly in control and never panics, which is, needless to say, refreshing.

I’m not getting excited until I see these guys play college ball

Yep bradley makes high iq basketball decisions against the best competition in high school basketball... And thats best measuring stick at that level. We need an elite floor general and decision maker, he fits what we do in every aspect .

How many years are we initially expecting out of each the signees?

Miller could be lottery pick, at worst somewhere in 1st round so he could be 1 and done. I think bradley could be 2 years , griffen 2 years, clowney at least 2. Jmo but reasonable given what scouts have said.

I don't even know how Will Wade lasted as long as he did with everything LSU already knew years ago.

Jaden Bradley is good. You don't have to worry about needing too see him play because he will be good from day 1 trust me!

With Bradley and Miller, their blend of skill and size probably put them in the one-and-done category. For Griffen, I would expect two or more years. And the rest probably play out their eligibility.

Whats everyone's opinion on how media will project the sec next year given what we know? I know its speculative considering we dont know everyone's departures and additions. My early guess:. 1. UK, 2.Ark, 3. UT, 4. Bama(possible swap with UT), 5. A&M, 6. Ole Miss, 7.USC, 8. UF, 9.barn, 10. Vandy, 11. Ms st, 12. mizzou, 13. UGA or LSU, 14. UGA or LSU. Keep in mind this is guess work

Bradeley is possible 1 and done if his 3 ball keeps improving.

Portal will definitely go a long way to determining it. As of today I'd guess you are probably close to right. If LSU doesn't have a mass exodus I'd guess they'll be a little higher, but they might very well have one of those.
1. Kentucky (possibly Arkansas)

Do you guys know why Justin Powell was rarely used at Tennessee?
I think he's most definitely in the wrong system shoot kind a wished we nabbed him out of the portal last season.

Basically didn't trust him to do anything but shoot 3s. Of course, that fits better with us as a specialist guy than it does a lot of other places. I'd certainly be interested in him if he ended up back in the portal.

Agree. I'd love to have JD back too.
His horrible turnover numbers are something he could improve because they were mainly so unforced.
Add "lob it to the rim whether my player's there or not" to lazy perimeter and haphazard cross-court passes. It's mainly just those three things -- as frequent and frustrating as they were -- that made his TO rate so historically bad.
Working really hard to improve on defense could help his offensive decision making as well. Know your enemy.
I thought he really improved on his 3 point shooting. Not a textbook form but he looks pretty confident shooting it now.

Yes! I hope he can find a place that values his strengths because he was putting on a show as a freshman in Auburn.
