The main thing is, we need to bring in a playmaker. Estrada wasn’t great on defense and was pretty inconsistent on the perimeter, but he was still a solid playmaker.

I don’t hate Stevenson at all. You can check my past posts. A year ago, I said Stevenson had more potential than Mo and that he might even become the best player on the team by the time he's a senior. I still stand by that.
really? still think he has more potential than mo who's already turned into a complete freak of nature to the point of becoming the next herb and will more than likely become our best player regardless of whatever hyped phenom we end up with for next season? geez flippin jarin bros i swear. lol

I like Mo, and he can help the team. But, he's pretty much peaked. He gets the most out of his abilities already. I get that the football guys love hardnosed, dirty-work players, but he won't sniff the NBA, because he's limited. We need some skilled guys too.

The most important factor in potential is age. Stevenson is two years younger than Mo and one year younger than Sherrell. You are truly ignorant and have no understanding of ceiling and floor.

im not a football guy. how do you know hes peaked? perhaps he hasnt even begun to peak and when he does peak, all of college ball will feel it. how exactly is mo not a skilled guy? gotta say, pretty shameful to say that about a guy who contributed massively to our success this season, in many ways.

now i know youre clueless. the most important factor in potential is talent, not age.

Because I've been watching basketball for 40 years.

if youve been watching the game that long then you should know you didnt explain why in the slightest. you can absolutely have your opinion though, baseless or not.

Don't dismiss Stevenson's potential just because he's not good right now. When Mo was the same age, he was still in HS. If Stevenson truly had no talent, he wouldn't have gotten any playing time at all. The younger you are, the more upside you have.

Mo hasn’t hit his ceiling yet. Maybe he’ll be the best player on the team next season. He clearly has more potential. But I still believe that Reid and Stevenson have greater potential than Mo.

thats not what im doing. i just dont get how you and the other guy can dismiss mo's so ignorantly after what hes done already, just because hes not still a teenager. should i start going down the list of guys who turned into great players despite their lack of ''youth'' and espn level of preconceived ''talent'' for you? ill start with one, HERB MF JONES

Love Mo. He's not even close to the level of Herb.

Are you bi-polar? You spent an entire season shitting on Stevenson and now you're his staunchest defender?

how so? as a matter of fact i would even argue mo's currently ahead of where herb was in some areas.

How long I've been watching and what I know have nothing to do with how willing I am I explain why things are to someone who won't be willing to see.

Herb had much better physical tools. I've never seen a guy Mod's size not dunk a single time in 36 games. He has great effort, but he's not terribly athletic.

You haven’t seen all my comments, have you? I’ve always thought highly of Stevenson’s potential ever since he came to Bama. When he was a freshman, I never criticized him, even when he struggled. In fact, I mostly had good things to say about him because he was a young freshman who had reclassified.
This season, he was a sophomore and took on a bigger role. Do you really think freshmen and sophomores should be judged the same way?
