Tchikou playing in that charity game while not being fully recovered must’ve really pissed Oats off

My thinking is this...I knew he had to serve that suspension and Coach Oats implied before then that they (trainers) want him either at 100% or close to it plus he had to get in playing shape/condition. Coach Oats doesn't lie so if he was being immature like some claim then he would say just that because he ain't gone sugarcoat it. Tchikou has been a fantastic teammate and cheerleader during both games which is what I like to see. I will say on one of those clips Tchikou lacked his explosiveness a little.

I would favor us against any team in the country, it’s a bold claim but I think everyone in here will agree after what we do to Gonzaga in Seattle.

It will be on-demand after the conclusion of the game which will give you pause and rewind capability.

Why do you care about Vegas preseason futures? I guess Gonzaga won the championship last year, and Duke the year before. Lines are meant to encourage action on both sides, they’re not Vegas’ prediction on what will happen

I don’t get what I said wrong, I made a bold statement and I think that will be a popular one after we beat Gonzaga in Seattle. I’m not downplaying our schedule before Gonzaga but beating them in Washington will be a huge attention getter in the media and y’all will start to come around.

Dude, he just suspended him and didn't make any comments like that. You don't air out dirty laundry to the media. He may be up front on what players need to work on, but he's not going to talk about personal matters. This isn't the first damning comment either. He mmay eventually work himself into the good graces of the staff, but it's clear he isn't there right now. He has to work on being a good teammate when the cameras aren't rolling.
