Not sure that bad defense (or rebounding in the other games) can be attributed to jinxes. Personnel and effort, sure. Jinxes…probably not so much

I hear you, but last year felt pretty “right” until the UCLA free throw debacle. We need to keep perspective that we won the double SEC title just last season.
We’re not playing well right now, and the observations that we may not have the personnel to be good on defense appear accurate. Although it seemed like we were much better earlier in the season. Maybe the Christmas break will help us get rested

Taking about losing to White Boys..if you play Whiteys game he can win.
Back in the Dark Ages in High School we would play the varsity (brothers) in pickup games and on occasion beat them when we could force them to play our game...slow pace walk the ball up and frustrate them. We had some shooters and we just refused to let them run.

Charlie Henry better start earning his paycheck. He doesn’t recruit so if our defense is going to be shite, he brings nothing to the table. They better find a way to scheme to help our deficiencies because our players are who they are.
