Keon was my favorite player all of last year. He always came in clutch. Can’t wait to watch him blow up this year

Has anybody seen Tchikou anywhere at all tonight? Did I just miss him in the introductions?

I did not notice him but wasn't really looking either

Only player on their entire roster that currently has a positive +/-.

Everything I can gather is he wasn’t there.

Game is over.
Pels 1st round pick Trey Murphy -28 (worst on the team).
Pels 2nd round pick Herb Jones +17 (best on the team).

That doesn't seem good. Maybe that was some sort of punishment for that summer tournament he played in? Or worse, maybe we hear in a few days that he's no longer with the team.

Saw a random comment on Twitter that apparently Tchikou wasn't there because he is sick. No idea if that's legit or not.

@_hoopinglife was +17 tonight in 29 minutes. The Pelicans lost by 16.
In the 19 minutes that Herb wasn’t on the floor, the Pelicans were outscored by 33. Sheesh

The event went pretty good honestly and it had good energy inside so that was a brilliant idea well I watched clips of the tipoff and it seemed lit.

A lot of people showed up once the HC bonfire hit its peak. I got in there when the dunk contest started and people were hyped.

Alabama Men’s and Women’s Basketball Ushers in 2021-22 Season with Supe Store Tide Tipoff
The Crimson Tide was welcomed by a packed house in Foster Auditorium
The Alabama men's and women's basketball teams officially welcomed in the 2021-22 campaign with a packed crowd in Foster Auditorium for the sixth annual Tide Tipoff event presented by Supe Store.
"It was fun, it was good for our players and its always exciting for everyone to get a chance to see our full team for the first time," head coach Nate Oats said. "Obviously, it's not a game, but excitement is in the air and you can tell the students and the players are excited about the season. It was a good time. I thought they did a good job putting it on. The players had fun and I thought the fans enjoyed it. I was happy to see our guys having fun in front of the fans again."
The night began with introductions, followed by a three-point competition, which was won by women's basketball's Nia Daniel and men's basketball's Jaden Shackelford. The men's dunk contest was judged by a celebrity panel of four judges, including Lawson Schaffer, Jasmine Walker, James Spann and Student-Athletic Advisory Committee president Gabe Serrano. In a close contest that went down to the wire, the judges gave the decision to Keon Ellis over JD Davison.
"We're just really excited to continue to keep coming in every day and practicing, but we need to be in different environments and I thought tonight was another good opportunity for that," said head coach Kristy Curry.
The men's squad will face Louisiana in a charity exhibition benefiting the United Way of West Alabama on Sunday, Oct. 24 at 2 p.m. CT, with the women's team competing in an exhibition against Alabama-Huntsville on Nov. 4 at 6 p.m. CT.
Both teams will officially begin the regular season on Nov. 9, competing in a doubleheader at Coleman Coliseum. The women's team will tip off against Charleston Southern at 5 p.m. CT and the men's team will immediately follow against Louisiana Tech at 8 p.m. CT. The men's game will be broadcast live on SEC Network and the women's game will be on SEC Network+.

This guy a Gump 100%. He’s middle aged, acting like he’s still in college. Maybe he’s a eunuch or something.
