The last turnover @AlabamaMBB had in the game was at the 15:00 mark. That's crazy.

Anyone have a link for the Houston Cougars message boards?

Here is one...there is some funny stuff on there. They really hate us for last year.

FIFY…unless you are going to call Oats a hater too. Took Nate a little longer to realize than most, but he finally got the message.

JQ has huge upside

If he has a huge upside it's because he is playing at a low level right now. The only thing he needs to do is give Bradley minutes

They will be fine

not the JQ hater tha lot of you are, but, right now, I guess I'd have to play Bradley over him. He's just steady. JQ has huge upside, but he's very loose with his passes. If he learned to value the ball and make the safe play, he'd be hard to beat. But,Bradley also plays great defense.

I agree. I've always been high on Bradley and he's coming along really nice.

Oats loves to play a lot of guards though. I would not be surprised to see JQ, JB, and Sears all on the court together.

JQ is what, 8 or 9 months? removed from a serious knee injury. He doesn't have his quickness back enough yet to be able to get to the basket vs an elite defense like Houston. He is gonna be a lot better by mid-January when he is closer to 100%.

We wouldnt have won the UNC game without JQ that's for sure and he was a huge part of our sweet 16 run. Anyone bashing him is an idiot as far as I'm concerned.

We have Griffin, Sears, and Burnett to split time. He easily could play 27-30 min this game

Bradley only got to 24min, but I bet he had at least 3 more min in him. He definitely needs to get in game shape because his minutes should be 20+ every night from now on.

They all have something to offer.

It wasn’t JQs day, Oats recognized that and made the right decision playing Bradley down the stretch.

I’ve seen Bradley have a bad game too.

We’ve seen JQ win us a lot of games. He’s a leader on this team and we’ll need him to contribute this year.

Memphis beating Auburn then us blowing out Memphis would be the cherry on top.

He just isnt close enough to 100% to be able to beat or avoid those double teams, then he was having to try to make almost impossible passes which were turnovers.

Houston played him very smart and took him away, smart to do to a pg coming off a knee injury.

Props to Oats for taking JQ out and props to JQ for being so supportive of all the other players. He is gonna help a lot this season as he gets healthier and back in the swing of things.

You must be forgetting last year, where he had 5 TOs against Memphis, 5 against Arky, and 4 against AU.

He’ll be good in lots of games this year, but rarely against really good defenses. His game falls apart and his defense and rebounding is a huge liability. When’s the last time Q got an O-board and putback? Bradley had a huge one off a missed 3 in the last 4 min of the game.

Wow 5 turnovers. Show me a starting pg that didn't have multiple games with at least 5 turnovers last year.

Bradley seems better equipped against physical defenders, for sure.

Glad we finally have a physical guard. Even Sears is more physical than the guards we’ve had in the past. This is something Oats has talked about. He had a couple of hard-nosed guards at Buffalo he loved.

Bradley played like a sr tonight, and it was his first road game, he is special and hopefully we have him for multiple years.

I guarantee these same people bashing Quinerly tonight will be bashing Bradley the next bad game he has.

I love what he's giving. He's our backup PG. Great experience, great handle. A couple years ago he shot like 40+% from 3. If he can shoot around 35% this year it will be huge.

Apologies Joka. Just thankful that Oats realized we needed a PG with a positive assist to turnover ratio in the biggest games. We don’t win this game without the switch!!

Bradley 4 assists, 0 TOs in 24 min
JQ 0 assists, 4 TOs in 13 min

Bradley may have a bad game this year, but he would need 3-4 bad games before it becomes a trend that we’ve see from Q.
