I'm pretty sure we went after a couple of those guys on Arkansas, like Mark and Battle.

I am usually for the SEC team in these noncon games but I hope Arkansas loses.

Stanford choked at the FT line and allowed Arkansas to tie it and send it to OT

FT disparity also kept Arky in it

They must practice drawing fouls. Because they win the FT discrepancy every fricking game

This is Grant/Avery level stuff at the FT line by Stanford

Stanford makes their free throws or gets the same amount as Arky they win

Arky might be the 8th/9th best team in the league

Disagree. They do this every fricking year under Muss. They will struggle until about midway through conference play and then figure it out. Then they will get hot, win 2 or 3 games in the NCAAt, and then lose:

Im taking Bama, Auburn, Mississippi State, Kentucky, Tennessee, A&M, and Florida over them right now. League is even deeper than last year.

He’s more reliant on his transfer portal players this year than he’s been at any point in his tenure thus far

Hawgs have the athleticism to beat Memphis easily

Just shore up a third of the shots yall missed at the rim tonight and y’all should be fine

Get the same offensive output tomorrow yall had tonight and that’s where it could get hairy

Arkansas plus about 15 points on free throws. Big disparity.

hogs shot 30% from the field but +13ftm.

+6 in turnovers
+6 in rebounds

We won't face many teams that shoot 54% from the line.

Aren't we more reliant on transfer portal players than ever before too. I read that after being too reliant on freshmen last year, that Muss was gonna go with more portal guys. We'll probably continue to fill our guards spots with transfers.

Nelson and Estrada are big minutes for us and contributors yes, but we still have Sears, Pringle, Griffen, Stevenson, Walters, Cosby, etc that are Oats guys. Not saying the portal doesnt play a role for us, but Grant and Estrada didn’t light the world on fire the past 2 games and we were just fine. We were’t playing Purdue obviously, but Arkansas and Michigan State showed you can lose to anyone at home for the buy games, so you can still take something from it.

Sears and Pringle are transfers. Sears after two years at Ohio, and Pringle after a year at Wofford and another year in juco. I think we like everybody unwilling to pay millions to 5 star freshmen like Kentucky and Duke are going to “get older.” Experience matters.

They’ve been in our system for a year is my point, and your recruiting point is spot on.

All of these guys for Arkansas have not.

And with Sears last year were veteran players and freshman from Oats. We most definitely use the portal so I wasn’t trying to say we don’t, but we dont just have a brand new roster every year with 8-10 new faces.
