Griffen 9 points in the first half thats good to see. He is capable of having 20 point games.

Oregon shooting 53% in first half. Get that down to 38% and bama is up 20.

Griffen is being the most assertive he’s been all year and he’s making shots and drawing fouls for free throws. He’s making Oregon stress even more when he’s an option.

This is the appearance of Griffen we were expecting. great

What Stevenson lacks is strength. He needs weight gain and more experience to show the athleticism he possesses.

Wague needs to be a little smarter to get more playing time.

Defense has looked better than yesterday. Still things to go home and clean up, but better effort today

Offense is gonna be good all year, just a matter of who each night

Grant Nelson laying an egg today if we are being honest. He got to finish BETTER at the rim.

99-91 final bama.

Back to back games of 90+ by the other team.

Nelson's problem today was defense, not offense.
Nelson was the worst defender on the team today. He grabbed the most rebounds on the team, but his defense was so disappointing that it didn't mean anything.

Our defense has serious issues. We better figure something out, or it could be a wild ride this year.

Like bama, our defense has to get better.

We are shooting good enough but we have let our opponents shoot 48%+

I don't know how much we can improve defensively. Maybe there won't be any improvement.
Our main player lineup is as follows:
Sears-Estrada-Nelson
I know they are good scorers, but I think their defense has the worst balance.
If the defense is not good at the G position, the defense needs to be helped from the F-C position. Or, if the defense is not good at the F-C position, you need to help the defense at the G position. But both are not possible.
If Nelson was a G-SF type player, Pringle, Wague, and Stevenson would have shown better defense and the balance between offense and defense would have been better.

We are shooting good enough to win but cant be giving up 40-50 points in the 2nd half.
