From everything I read on 24/7, his dad was attacked, but the guy was a poon and didn't connect. But that could be a deflection. But the barners have admitted he was attacked

There was a long thread on aufamily about the incident, I think it has been deleted. In the thread a poster relayed the story, that in fact he was punched by a fan while waiting outside the locker room with other parents. The poster was later vouched for by a moderator, basically saying he trust her/him more than any news outlet etc...
