Pete Golding ..honestly I looked at his resume and I don't understand how he even back-doored into being the DC at Alabama... check out his resume... .. At first I thought maybe he was an Ace recruiter, but I can't name one elite recruit out of La that he is responsible for.. How are you under performing on the field, not a top recruiter ...with a weak resume... I've never seen this before...It's almost as sickening as Slade Bolden being able to say he started for Alabama.LSU didn't even look his way and Saban has been trying to utilize this guy since he came to the program. I remember us running wildcat with this guy.. when we had Waddle. How are you 5'11, with no game breaking speed, or playmaking ability starting for BAMA..I even see him have the audacity to drop balls... when you are the least athletic guy on the field you have to be perfect. You can't tell me guys like Agiye Hall and other elite players are to sit behind Slade Bolden..and be OKAY. That is just flat-out disrespectful . These players parents are seeing this stiff mf on the field. They even let him return punts... where the hell is he going? I have friends who are fans of other teams asking me why is #18 on the field..

What man... that Slade Cat direct snap for three yard loss didn't do it for you ? His 3" vertical ? His beast mode 1 yard YAC avg ? That 4.8 forty though ? ? ?
You really think there is a better athlete on this roster that could do any better ? I highly doubt that. Saban only plays the best players if there was someone better Saban would play them. Haven't you been reading this board ? Every player we've signed is a missed evaluation and there is no talent on the team. Slade is the best we got.

Saban has this awful Louisiana obsession. I first noticed it when Denzel Devall started 3 years over Ryan Anderson. Devall was just another guy on the field and never stood out. Ryan Anderson was a game changer. They were in the same class and Ryan Anderson was always better.
Ryan Anderson became a top 50 pick in the NFL draft while Devall was undrafted and Nick Saban gave him a job on the support staff.
13, 14 defenses were some of the worst at Bama under Nick with zero pass rush. Ryan Anderson instead of Devall probably brings home another title.
He also has used some scholarship on players from Louisiana that Bama wouldn't have taken if they were from anywhere else either. I understand the importance of relationship building at certain schools that might provide future talent, but it's done at a detriment in Louisiana imo.

Fluker played middle school ball and Highschool ball in Mississippi and Alabama. So you just named 6 players out the countless that were recruited. Even some of the top rated Louisiana players under performed or were not good at Bama. Landon Collins never made a memorable play at Alabama. The only play I remember was him being ran over by Ohio States 3rd string QB in the playoffs. Cam Robinson stalled more drives with false starts than any lineman I've seen at Bama in over 20 years. Dylan Moses was a net minus at Alabama.
The facts are under Nick Saban Bama has had 39 1st Rd draft picks and only 1 has come from a Louisiana high school. Devonta Smith.
16 were from Alabama highschools.
There is obviously an over emphasis on Louisiana recruits for whatever reason and at times it's been to a detriment.
Lacy and Devonta Smith are the only two that have been critical. Tim Williams and Cam Robinson were a tier below.
