Not trying to be contrarian, but why are we putting so much stock in these predictors? It's the committee that makes the choice and they certainly have not shown consistency.

The question I have is, if we lose a close, competitive game do we get the benefit of the doubt and back door into the playoff ? If we get blown out, I think that we’re cooked.
