I’m 100% giving the CKD 3 yrs. Bama went out and got the best available coach who happened to have just coached in the NC game.
And did this after all the talking heads blabbered “ who would ever want to take the job after the GOAT”.

The problem is we have a segment of our fan base that has freaking insane expectations about the players, the coaches and the program in general.
If we have a brand new starter at QB and he doesn’t throw for 500 yards (or more) in his very first start, the knee jerk reaction of these “fans”-“HE SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!”
If CKD goes 12-0 next season but loses in the SEC CG on some weird play that you will never see again in a million years, these fans reaction-“HE SUCKS AND THE ENTIRE STAFF FIRED!!!!!”
I cringe when I see these posts. They make the rest of us look like lunatics.

You’re right. There is no new Saban walking through the front door. Only one close is Kirby and he isn’t leaving Ga. The other candidates would be more under the microscope because of too many ties to CNS. Generally you’re better off with a total rebuild of staff with realistic expectations.
