No it was a pretty terrible call. I'm just a believer in controlling the things you can control so you don't have to worry about a bad call.

I mean Saban deserves at least some blame. He’s the one that has retained those two bozos at the coordinator positions. The team also doesn’t look prepared as much anymore in big games. They tend to play sloppy more often than not in these types of games.

No. Multiple calls were bad. The saban timeout one was fricking terrible. It ended up being a 15 yard penalty for pass interference, when the play shouldn't have even happened.
The ref ignores him, even starts to grab his whistle, but stops on snap and lets it continue.

I do have a legit beef on one of the penalties. 1st quarter down 14-7. That was not a hold on Jase McClellan. It's not possible to hold when you're getting whipped as badly as he got whipped. Negated a 30 yard catch and run by Brooks. Ended up punting out of the endzone and giving UT a short field.

Will Anderson gets held basically every time he is double teamed. An official told me when a guy is already being double teamed, they just focus on the rest of the line. It sucks but it is what it is.

I'm of the mindset that we shouldn't have been in that position in the first place. Look at all the penalties in the first half that keep us down. If we just matched TN penalties we win that game and don't need a list minute INT to seal it. Refs screw up calls, it's part of football. At some point, maybe after multiple games of high penalties, you have to realize that it's you and not the refs.

if the refs don’t make one of those bad calls or no calls we win the game. You can’t say don’t blame the refs and then admit they blew a PI that would’ve iced the game(they ended up scoring a TD and KoolAid returned it to the 10) or any of the targeting calls that would’ve led to more points for us and them losing a dirty defensive player. Their late game sack was by the guy who should’ve been kicked out for the most obvious of the targeting calls.
