i'm of the thought that if simpson had the same amount of pt as milroe, he'd be lightyears ahead of milroe. milroe's had 3 years to get better, he hasn't.

Why hasn't Simpson gotten better in practice? If he can't even show out in practice, why would you expect him to show out in real action against a good opponent?

One dude was given a golden opportunity. Simpson was not. I fully believe that regardless of how Simpson performed, after the ‘team meeting’, Milroe was going to be named the starter. I am not saying this is the case with Simpson, however we do have real world evidence of Saban choosing to play an inferior QB while a far superior QB played back-up. He was even willing to unnecessarily lose a game and his stubbornness nearly cost him a NC.

Simpson has had every opportunity to win the job. He didn't. How is that even debatable?

I would agree that Buchner was given every opportunity (which is one of many reasons that I have quickly lost faith in Rees). Once Simpson was forced to third string, that removed the moniker of being given every opportunity and which is why it’s a debatable topic.

Laughing at facts would be a reason that you do not find things debatable.

Prior to week one:

1. Milroe
2. Buchner
3. Simpson

^Simpson would be known as third string. Buchner sucked from day 1 and was proven out. Therefore hence, Simpson was forced to third string. Care to retort?

From all indications from fall camp, including posters on this board that observed scrimmages, Simpson performed the worse of the 3.

Hence why he was 3rd on the depth chart coming into game 1.

Now, either everyone is lying about what they observed and there was some kind of conspiracy by Rees against Simpson like you are claiming as fact, or multiple parties truly saw the same thing and reported it as so.

Idk, to me it seems much more reasonable to believe the latter.

I guess that I read different reports and heard from different people. All of which were extremely surprised to see them move Buchner in front of Simpson.
