Not racist but it is strange and definitely offensive.
It's like Tua calling his father trailer park because he can't pronounce his name.
That's the type of attitude that got this country in the PC shitshow that we are all living now.
If you think that's offensive, cry me a river.
And you continue to make an arse of yourself by trying to make an insult with the assumption that my father is from Alabama and therefore lives in a trailer park. But, a more accurate analogy would be to say that Tua would call him Cotton, or even Dixie or Bama or something like that. But my father is from NYC. So, I guess Tua would call him Big City, or Wall Street or Yankee or whatever. You would call him some offensive shite because you act like a SJW bitch.

Hurts is what he is. He is good for between 75-80 yards through the air and against bad defenses he runs through them like shite through a tinhorn. Our wide receivers are awesome but you won't ever see that with Hurts. It is what it is.

One of those imcompletions last week was directly in the hands of a receiver that dropped it.
Oh ok so you agree we need to count drops. Ridley, foster, and bo all dropped balls which 2 were touchdowns.

In all honesty if Hurts was the qb against 2013 and 2012 Texas A&M we would have probably lost both of those games.
We did lose one of those games with one of Bamas best passers. Wtf are you bringing these games up for? How on earth is this relevant to Hurts?

BamaDoc already said it best in another thread, and though it was specifically about Ridley's dropped pass, it is also valid in this context.
"You sound ignorant when you talk about an anomaly vs a trend.
I like jalen and I am glad he is our QB1, but his stats are every game while CRs drops are not"

I think Tua will gradually get more playing time and not just in mop up duty, so that he can improve, and I think he will improve. As was noted so often last year about Jalen, he's just a freshman, and is bound to get better. Since he appears already to be a better passer than Hurts, that's good for our team, and as previously noted, his team mates seemed to respond well to him.
Tua looked real good yesterday and he has natural touch and pocket presence which i haven't really seen from Hurts....but you also have to take into account Vandy's arse was completely whipped at that point in the game. Jalen has been road tested in some tough situations and, with the exception of the title game, was clutch so I don't see Tua getting the nod at this point. Jalen looked improved in this game as well.....but I agree with you, Tua must get meaningful reps.
All that said, if we can have a credible threat to get the ball into our playmakers hands, we will win it all again

But Jalen brought us back on the road against Ole Miss last year .... and put us ahead against Clemson late

The title game, where he single-handedly gave us the lead with 2 minutes to go in the game?

Drops happen to every quarterback. It isn't something to beat your head over.

No. I don't think Tua will get the start now, and I'd venture to guess he isn't ready for that. I do think, though, that he'll start getting more prep for the time we may need him. There will come a time that defenses are shutting down the running game, and we have to pass the ball and not just screens or jet sweeps, and Jalen will be struggling. Then, at that time, we'll need Tua to be tested and prepared, and if he does get that time to be so prepared, I think he will play well. He may even be able to read defenses before and after the snap. That would be cool. The coaches may even trust him to check down to secondary receivers, rather than taking off or throwing out of bounds. That would be very cool.

Just commenting on the double standard.

And managed 2 series, in the entire game, of more than 5 plays. Turning the ball over so quickly that Clemson had 99 offensive plays, which will wear out any defense. Oh, and that defense, earlier in the game, cause 2 turnovers on Clemson's side of the field. The offense managed 3 points for it.

And the defense did not win a single 50/50 ball, sark abandoned the run and we never subbed on this tired defense. Shall we keep going?

Only slight hyperbole.
Listen Boz. Think what you want to. I don't care. I only want what's best for the team, and I think a quarterback that can read defenses, check down to receivers rather than having to take off or throw out of bounds, and can...consistently...hit the receivers on intermediate and long routs, will help this team. So far, Hurts has failed in those facets of the game. He's probably a great kid, and he's a very good runner, but in those areas, he has not proven to be very good, and to be a complete team we will need the quarterback to do that.

Dude- this subject has been re-hashed ad-naueseum on this board . Hurts played like shite in that game.......as did the entire offense and Sarkisian sucks.....I'm not putting it all on Jalen.

Huddie,
What has Jalen done in your eyes, this season, to warrant Tua to start over him? I agree, that Tua seems to have better arm talent, but Hurts is a playmaker, clutch, isn’t a turnover machine, and is electric when he runs. I’m done bashing you and uofarolltide over the perceived Hurts hate and just want to understand your argument base.

We had like 3 non offensive td that game. Hurts didn't play bad but he didn't carry the team to victory per say.
He gets credit for Clemson. But that wasn't my point... Clemson game was back and forth, we weren't trailing by a substantial margin and had a 2 Td lead... And my point was can he do what Watson and AJ did.

Keep going all you want to, though it wasn't long ago you said on the wooly al forum that you weren't going to post on this board anymore, due to what you thought were so many morons.
Hi Boz. Fancy seeing you here again.
