He has really played to the strength of our QB's and his play calling and setting up of certain plays is a sign greatness. Lane is living it up right now.

The guy isn't stupid. He obviously knows the strength of the two QBs. I saw two different offenses when Blake and Jake took the field relative to the play calling.

I agree.

He's made B.Sims look really good in the offense with the play calling. Sims really does gel with and command the offense better than Coker.

Only real complaint is the lack of touches for OJ so far. Hopefully they are just saving that for the real games.

My complaint is getting the calls in time to break the huddle without having to rush the new guys. The no huddle is faster, but when they huddle it is chaos.

He's gotten the ball into Cooper's hands early and often. First play of the game, two games in a row. Loved the end around.

Absolutely. Amari is our best football player imo and it's not close. I'm glad that Lane is feeding him the ball and I won't be surprised if he has close to 1500 yards and 15 TD's or so making him possibly the first overall selection in the NFL draft.

The dude can coach quarterbacks. Look at Sim's pocket presence and footwork and decision-making. Did anyone expect that? Kiff's philosophy seems to be if you keep getting Coop in on-on-one, he's bound to break a big play. Makes sense to me.

I also didn't expect us to be running no-huddle so much and with such success. I'm expect that trend will continue, and again, I expect that we can credit Kiffin with that.

I'm assuming you mean the 1st WR taken. No way Amari, let alone any WR, will be the top pick in the NFL Draft.

Said it before and I'll say it again...I would give my left nut to see Kiffin hang 60 on Tennessee.

I like what we do with the no huddle, not particularly interested in hurrying, just giving blake more time to get the play and survey the defense

I like the way Kiffin used Drake this game.

The best thing is the lack of negative plays, particularly with Sims. We've been able to stay ahead of schedule and convert a really great percentage on third downs.

"So far" is the operative phrase. I'm afraid we just played two bad defenses that were completely outmatched physically by our guys. Still a little worried about everything being in a 8 yard box right now. Really good defenses will tee off if they don't have to worry about the rest of the field.

Can't wait for the Florida game and to see what Kiffin has for when Florida's very good secondary takes away some of the bread and butter plays we have been having success with.
